Once the memory ended everyone went different ways, some getting food and drinks while others talked. Team Iron Man, Bruce, Thor, Stephen, May, MJ and Ned sat at one of the tables near the Slytherins eating and talking "I mean it Ned" MJ said trying to get Ned phone from his hand, the male having taken a picture of her eyeing the pretty Weasley girl Ginny
"Oh come on, this is perfect blackmail" Ned told her standing up so she wouldn't get his phone and delate the photo "I don't care. Give it" MJ jumped over the table taking him to the ground "Ah" Ned yelped. The two tussled on the ground, Ned still holding the phone away from MJ who keeps trying to pull his arms down to get it
Penny who was on her third plate- because of a certain sorcerer keeps filling her plate 'without' her noticing- just watched amused "Are you going to stop this?" Bruce asked looking at the redhead
"No" Penny said and went back to eating "AH!" Ned yelled making those near him wince but no one got up to help him
Sirius and Remus stared at Penny, wanting to go to her "How can we even talk to her. Rem? What if she thinks we also left her" Sirius asked. Remus shook his head "Didn't you watch the memory. She watched as we were shocked by James and Lily giving her up, she knows" Remus reassured his husband "But we need to wait. These memories are tough on her, let's not add to the stress"
Sirius nodded knowing his husband was right, he didn't want to stress out his niece anymore than she already is but he was also worried watching his ex best mates and his godson. He just knew those two would try something. He'll just have to keep an eye on them, he wouldn't let them take Penny away from her family
Even if that means their not in it
Steve and Wanda watched the group across the hall laugh and have fun and couldn't help but feel angry. Steve built this team, to the ground up and now it's taken from him by some teen?! He couldn't believe someone would side with Stark, then him. He's Captain America! Why would anyone believe Stark, over him!
Wanda though was angry for a whole different reason. She spent years trying to turn everyone on Stark, and she managed with Steve, Clint and Natasha but then Stark brings this kid. She didn't see how Penny was so special, they have the same powers, so a point since she's pretty sure she's more powerful. But back on topic, she spent years tearing the team apart from the inside and now... now their closer than ever without her and Steve
Penny wipes her face taking a sip of water before looking down at Ned and MJ who were still fighting over the phone.
Suddenly MJ and Ned watched as Ned phone was covered in pink light and pulled out of his grip "Awe, so cute" Penny cooed looking at MJ smiling softly at Ginny "Wh-Penny!" MJ yelled trying to untangle herself from Ned who was now laughing
"What? You look so cute" Penny teased before yelping when MJ threw herself at her. Quickly getting up, Penny ran around the table with MJ chasing her "Pen!" Ned yelled holding his hands open. Penny threw him the phone "Ned!" MJ yelled now chasing him
Pepper and Tony, May and Happy, watched the four with smiles happy that Penny is laughing with her friends once more. Stephen though couldn't feel more happy and content seeing the love of his life, healing, playing with her friend, laughing. Thing he never thought would be possible again
He's happy that the light is returning to Penny
