The Avengers turned and stared at the unmoving Spider-Man, the woman had just called him dad.

"Spidey... you have a kid?" Jessica asked shocked.

"What! No, I don't have any kids." He said.

The woman was horrified when he said that, she didn't know why he would say that he didn't have any kids when she was stood there right in front of him.

But after taking a look around the room once more and getting a better look at everyone she started to notice something. Although she recognised them all as the Avengers there was something evidently different about them, they all looked younger than before.

Where the hell was she?

"Nows not the time for amnesty son. If you know who this woman is speak up." Instructed Cap.

"I'm telling you I don't know who she is, I don't have any kids." Peter said flustered.

"Cmon, she's calling you dad and has a suit that looks exactly like yours." Tony said accusingly.

"That suits not mine." He pointed out.

"It's my uncle Bens costume." Said the woman.

This got Peters attention more so than the others, when he first saw the costume he also recognised the suit as his brother Ben Reillys. And now she's saying that her uncle who's also called Ben owned that suit, it couldn't be a coincidence, in his life coincidences were rare.

"Your... uncle Bens costume." Peter repeated.

"Yes." She simply replied hoping he would realise sooner or later.

"Enough chitchat, are we gonna fight or not?" Said Jennifer as she cracked her knuckles.

"Easy Jen. We still don't know if she's a threat or not." Carol said trying to calm her friend.

"She's right. Until we know she's not a danger we should tread carefully." Advised Steve. "Spider-Man... it seems she recognises you, whether you're her father or not it seems that she's most likely to trust you so you can talk to her and see what's up." Steve continued turning towards the web-head.

"O-okay... but, could we talk in private. She might be more comfortable without all of you crowding around her." He agreed.

"Sure thing but we'll be close by just in case. Good luck." Steve accepted his terms and left after giving him a reassuring pat on the shoulder wishing him luck. "Cmon everyone, let's give them some space." He addressed the others in the room.

Peter was left alone with the woman who seemed to be pretty anxious judging by her nervously rubbing her arm and swaying back and for the not sure what to do.

"So... who are you?" He asked curiously.

"I'm... Spider-Girl." She answered hesitantly.

"Okay... Spider-Girl. What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I have no idea, you tell me." She answered laughing slightly.

Peter chuckled too. "I brought you here. How did you get here?" He reiterated.

"No clue." She answered shrugging her shoulders in confusion.

"Okay. What was the last thing you remember?" He asked instead.

"I was... yea... I was fighting the Vulture Gang." She answered before being interrupted by Peter.

"The Vulture Gang? Since when did Vulture have a gang?" He said taken aback.

"Not that Vulture. But they all have the same flying equipment." She said clarifying. "I was fighting the three of them after they had robbed a bank, I beat them all down and used the last of my webs to tangle up their wings so they couldn't fly away. But I was knocked of their back and fell." She said as she remembers her fight.
