Chapter 5

Peter was absolutely dumbfounded at the latest revelation. Felicia had just introduced the Night Spider as hers and his daughter Felicity Parker.

"Well Spider... what do you think?" Felicia asked teasingly.

He really didn't know how to respond to that question. He was still wracking his head around his daughter with MJ, now he has another daughter with Felicia. What exactly was going on here?

"I... I don't know what to think Felicia?" He said honestly which was a slight surprise and let down for both of them.

"Oh Cmon Spider, you what this means right?" Felicia as rhetorically.

"It means you and I are going to end up together. I knew I still had my claws in you." Felicia answered for him.

"Felicia... that... that isn't necessarily true." He said hesitantly.

"What do you mean of course it is. Look at her, she's proof that we end up together." Felicia pointed out.

"But I have a daughter with MJ too." Peter told her.

"That doesn't matter, you can have us instead of that Spider-Girl." Felicia beamed at having her spider again.

"Wait... you knew that she was my child?" He asked taken aback.

"Well... I didn't, not at first. Felicity told me she was." Felicia said.

"But you still went after her?" He asked a-fronted.

"Well... I thought once you saw what we could have you'd pick us." Felicia said.

"She's still my daughter Felicia." Peter said angrily.

"But... what about us? You can have us instead. Why settle with little red when you can be with me?" Felicia questioned.

"Did you think to consider that I love Mary Jane?" He retorted.

"I thought you loved me?" She asked.

"I did... do... it's just... everything's so confusing right now." He answered which was hard for Felicia to hear. He seemed unsure of where to place his feelings, normally it was just a contest between her and Red but now there's the idea of kids. And he has one from each of them, he couldn't just pick who he loved now.

"I'm... I'm sorry Spider. I didn't think." Felicia apologised.

"She's alright... just webbed up so we could talk in private." Felicity spoke up getting their attention.

Felicity was rather uncomfortable with the conversation the two of them were having, and she could see that her father was conflicted. She thought that once the three of them had gotten together it would have been a sure thing that her parents would get together.

"Where?" Was all he asked calmly.

"In an alleyway. Back near the rooftops." She revealed.

Peter turned to leave and had made his way to the balcony where he was ready to jump and get his daughter, to get Mayday, but he turned his head to look at the two of them once more.

Felicia was genuinely hurt and had a look of guilt and regret, it was unusual for him to see but it was clear as day that she now feels bad for having acted the way she did. Felicity was no better, to the both of them it felt as though he had already chosen who he loved and by proxy which child he wanted. But that simply wasn't the case for him, he had no idea who to choose.

"Huh. Why don't... you come with us? We were on our way to see MJ and introduce Mayday to her." He offered them.

"You... you want us to go with you?" Felicia asked stunned.
