(((a/n hello i havent updated in a while i apologize xx)))

michael stayed at calum's house for the next few nights, agreeing that they'd share the bed. "i hope the next  time you move somewhere, it isn't haunted, because you are not sleeping in my bed anymore. you're suvh a bed hog," calum laughed. michael rolled his eyes and pulled the blankets over him.

luke waited night after night for michael to come back. maybe to get his stuff, maybe to stay, luke didn't know what he wanted to happen more. "so his stuff is still there, but he isn't?" ashton asked as luke sighed. "mhm." "he might be staying somewhere else until he wants to come back when he actually can move." ashton shrugged. "yeah, but the past few nights have been boring." luke complained. "well when someone moves out is usually a while before someone else does. you'll live if its been a couple days." luke mumbled something mean and walked back to his room.

"michael, please, just go back to your house. you're eating all my food and wearing all my clothes." calum groaned. "calum, come on, i can't go back there. there's no way." michael said. "let me have my house to myself for a few days, alright? you can come back, but i need my bed back to myself." calum shot back. "ugh, fine. if i die, its your fault." michael stood up. "there's never any problems during the day, you'll be fine until night time. i'll stay up and if anything happens, text me." michael nodded and walked out the door.

the rest of the day was normal, but michael still feared the night. he sat on the couch, and as the minutes went on, he kept freaking out more. he couldn't do this, after so many days without it had left him so used to nothing ever happening and now he was more scared.

3 am. michael bit his lip and just wanted it to be over with. as usual, the sound came back, the tv screen showing static. instead of the lights flickering, they went out completely. michael's shaky hand grabbed his phone and he clicked calum's name. but his phone was thrown across the room. his eyes widened, and the static from the tv being the only light, he couldn't even see luke beside him.

then, the lights turned back on. "finally back?" michael screamed and closed his eyes. "w-what the hell? who are you?" his voice was barely audible. "i'm nothing but a demon, of course." "a what" michael couldn't believe what he was hearing. "demon. you know, haunting people is what i do." luke rolled his eyes. "are there anymore of you?" "no, actually, only very few of us can bounce between the underworld and here." "yeah, sure, i can believe that. now really what are you doing here?" "look into my eyes." michael opened one eyes, then the other. what he saw left him out of breath. his eyes were nothing but black, no white to them at all.
