You had been one of the lucky people to try the beta, and now it was being released!
Long, perilous lines were at every store but through perseverance you managed to grab a copy.
You got back home and your mother wondered what got you so worked up. "What'cha got there?" She asked. "A new game." You said while running up to your room.
Your mother smiled because you reminded her of your dad. He worked at a game company and he's the reason you love video games so much. One day your dad disappeared one day without a trace. Luckily you were very young but it hurt your mom a lot. Now, you always try to give her as little worry as possible. If she lost you... She'd snap.
If only she could protect you from the unexpected.
