Chapter 2

Colors flash as you spiral into the virtual MMO that is Sword Art Online. Hundreds of people are logged in already and more are spawning around you.

Your avatar had (favorite color) hair and matching eyes as well as a simple beginners outfit. You were already off and exploring the town with all the shops and sites it had to offer.

It amazed you that world so beautiful was all fake, but that wasn't going to stop you from having a fun time.

Everyone was meeting up with there friends in the game. The only person you could meet up with was someone you spent enough time in the real world with. Your 'sister' Asuna. (Sorry if having Asuna be your sister is really cliche for you guys but I have plans for this later so just bare with me.)

Asuna wasn't your biological sister but you two had the same grandparents. The fact of the mater is you two are cousins.
Your mom and Asuna's dad had the same parents. Your mom didn't like her brother so she moved out as soon as she could. She met your father, had you and then visited your grandparents when her brother wasn't there. As faith would have it Asuna would come by and visit just about every time you went over, without her parents.

You two were very young and didn't even know you were related at the time. It wasn't until much later your mom told you she had a brother and it was Asuna's dad. But, one of the days before you knew, while at your grandparents, you two made a promise to be sisters. And since then you've kept it.

Oh boy did you keep it.

Asuna is older than you so she took on the big sister roll. She'd nag at you but always do it because she wanted you to learn. You were the little arrogant sister who thought she didn't have to listen to the wisdom from the wise. If Asuna gave you advice you wouldn't use it until your plan no longer worked.

Even if you two did fight you still loved each other like sisters.

However, at the moment you didn't want to see Asuna because you had saw her in real life a few days prior to game day release. You both had made a bet about becoming to strongest player and beating the game.

You didn't want to see her because then she might ask you to join a guild with her. This would give her the advantage to beat you in the bet, mostly because she'd know we're you are at all times.

This was just a little sisterly competition but neither of you were backing down.
