In the next morning, Squidward woke up to a knock on the door. He was getting out of bed expecting SpongeBob to be at his door to g̶i̶v̶e̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶f̶f̶e̶c̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶ annoy him with something random like work, MM, and BB, or something else that's pointless. But to his surprise, he wasn't there but there was a present on his doorstep, he took the present into his house. He opens the present and there was a record of the Kelpy G song "Calm Waters" and IT WAS SIGNED BY HIM?! Squidward was very shocked that SpongeBob managed to get a signed copy of his favorite song. He was jumping up and down with so much joy that, he can jump all the way to the moon, and back. "Wow, I can't believe he had this..." Squidward said. Then, he left to go to work. When he arrived he had 2 things on his mind that he wants to do thank SpongeBob for the gift, and ask him out on a date.
-At the Krusty Krab-
Squidward arrived at his job where SpongeBob wasn't there yet "Ahoy Mr Squidward, you're early today." Mr. Krabs greeted "Hey, any chance you know where the lad went?" the crustraton asked. Now that Squidward thinks about it, he hasn't came to work yet, well of course he wouldn't be here yet since he may be time to get ready even though he's the one who's always early. "Do you want me to go get him orrr-"Squidward asked before getting interrupted by Mr. Krabs immediately saying yes, so the cephalopod left the restaurant to get his cheerful co-worker.
-At Conch St.-

Squidward arrived at ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶c̶r̶u̶s̶h̶e̶s̶ SpongeBob's house, he knocked on the metal door. Meanwhile, inside of the pineapple house, SpongeBob woke up from the kitchen table since that's where he was working on the gift, the table was a mess with tape, glitter, glue,paper, and ribbons everywhere. Then he got up to answer the door, he didn't bother to clean up his table or his face. He opens the door, and when Squidward saw his face he was about to burst out laughing but he was able to hold it for a while "H-Hey Sponge, you need to get to work because O-Old man Krabs told me to getcha." Squidward said as he was trying to contain his laughter "Oh, sorry Squid I was up all night making your present." SpongeBob answered tiredly. But 4 seconds later after he said his sentence, he busted out laughing "What's so funny Squiddy?" SpongeBob asked "Your face!" Squidward replied Wait, what?" SpongeBob yelled with shock as he rushed back upstairs to clean himself up and, to get ready for his favorite job. While SpongeBob was doing that, Squidward entered his house since the door was open and he was waiting on the comfy couch. When SpongeBob was ready, Squidward got up and they walked out of the door together all the way to work.
