Evie's pov

"No" I started shaking my head "no, no, no" I dropped the phone I had to get out of here I closed up the shop I can't handle being there any longer I started running somewhere anywhere at this point I ran as fast as I could I didn't care where I was going after what felt like forever I stoped to catch my breath I was in a bridge cars passing by me I looked to the side

More cars.

My thoughts took over my head.

I took off my backpack grabbed onto the metal bar one foot on the cement wall I was about to put my other foot on the cement wall when out of nowhere I here my name from the distance as if the wind called my name

"Evie stop" I looked to the side no one
"Evie wait don't do it it's not worth it" I looked closer something was moving from afar it got closer and closer I still couldn't make up who it was

shit I contemplated just doing it now before he got to close to stop me but something inside me told me I didn't want him to see me like this not tonight.

"Evie don't do it I promis you it's not worth it I will protect you with my life I swear Evie I promis you that I will give you anything and everything that I have in me left I care about you okay a.. and so does walker, Sophie,Malia, Jacob,Benny and fuckshit please don't Evie you've helped me with so much words can't explain please get down I can't loose you" miguel held his hand out for me to take it with tears in his eyes

I stood there for a minute

I grabbed onto Miguel's hand he pulled me into a tight hug "please don't ever do that again okay"
He cupped my face forcing me to look at him we stood there for a moment tears running down both our faces that was it

He kissed me

I'm that moment it felt as if there was no more air left in the world I felt at home I felt as if everything was going to be okay all my stress and anxiety was lifted of my shoulders I've never felt this type of way before our body's where tied together in a way

We let go and stared at eachother for a few minutes

Time skip

We made it to our apartment after what felt like forever when we walked in the house I saw everyone in the living room walker was pacing back and forth when he saw me he ran to me picked me up

"You had me so worried evie don't ever do that again please" walker said you could here the sadness in his voice "I know I'm sorry"

Meanwhile everyone was asleep I stayed awake with Sophia and Malia

"I know this might be out of place but what happened evie" Sophia said

"Yeah and where did you go you had all of us worried sick" malia sounded upset

"Look when I was at work I had gotten a call I..I think it was Daniel he said "you didn't think you could get rid of me that fast did you? Il find you evie" I got scared in a way I can't let him find me so I ran I didn't know where I ran until I got to a bridge......you know the rest" I wasn't going to tell them miguel kissed me

"Why did we leave California evie did Daniel do something to you?" Malia said

I hesitated telling them Daniel abused me and that whole relationship was toxic but they had to know we've been through everything together I new these girls before I meet they rest of the guys they deserved to know what happens back in cali
I took a deep breath and spoke

"When me and Daniel first got together everything was fine it was healthy we would do everything together but after awhile things took a turn he would start to pull my hair, slap me, yell at me at times all of them was when he was mad or I was hanging out with any of you guys so I had enough and I was originally going to leave by myself without you guys but then y'all came along and I'm glad so that's basically what happened" I said a little teary eyed

They stayed quite they felt bad deep down they where the only people I've told the real reason I left they gave me a hug

"Evie where so sorry we never new" Sophie said

"It's okay it over now but I don't know what I will do about this call I swear I had blocked him" I grabbed my phone looking at the call from Daniel

Before any of us spoke again we heard a light tap of the window

"What the hell"

Evie was scared who is knocking on her window this late at night evie told sophi and Malia to stay quiet they quietly walked out there room and they walked over to the guys room

Evie shook Miguel but before he could say anything evie signaled him to be quiet as she did with the rest of the boys evie told Miguel what had happed then there was another knock but this time in the guys window

"Evie I swear if you don't come outside I will come in"

That's when everything clicked it was Daniel evies heart sank fear rushed through her body she was frozen she could move her eyes felt heavy and her throat felt tight how...

How did he find her

Evie wasn't the only one who noticed who it was Miguel, Sophie and Benny all new the same voice they all new whatever was about to happen wasn't good for them or evie

The door handle started to shake

Everyone turned there heads now facing the door
Then the shaking turned into banging

He wanted her and she new it

Evie had two choices she could go with Daniel and risk her life or she could hide and risk everyone else's

She swore to never let anything happen to them they where her family they where the ones who decided to 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 with her when her life went to shit

Evie knew what she had to do

She gave Miguel a hug and before he new it she was walking to the front door Miguel tried stopping evie but Benny and Luke held him back evie took one last breath and opened the door

" oh Shit"

Ashton right at my front door it was my brother that I'd haven't seen in god knows how long

"Hey baby sister I finally found you"

Evies heart sank even more why? How? Did he find her Ashton grabbed her that was the last time anyone ever saw evie
