I thank you all for reading this far xD which I know it's a very long stretch from the beginning. But probably not as long as my other Azur Lane story. I appreciate you all for reading this far :,) Anyway, Enjoy!

After all was said and done this was it. Nothing of Azur Lane was left. Only a deserted island stained with blood and oil. Abandoned. No longer a safe haven. So many ships had perished. Hardly a handful of them were left, and even than their numbers dwindle. Constantly under attacked, hunted, chased, followed, tracked. No ship could rest. Not even for a moment. The Siren and Meta ships were relentless. They didn't need to sleep or eat. Their only hunger was their deep desire to find a means to an end. For the Sirens that meant the complete elimination of all ships. For the Meta ships, it meant the pleasing of Musashi. And if Musashi wanted all ship life to die, despite the looming consequences of her actions where the Sirens will have the upper hand on her than so be it. She just wanted to end all ship life as well. Even if it means her end will cease.

Unicorn knew Musashi was loosing it, becoming more crazed and unstable as the days passed by. She knew she was strong, but she had to take her out somehow. After all, Unicorn didn't want to die. She wanted to ensure at least she could survive and rebuild the new world. In her image. She'd make sure that everyone would be treated equally, with respect. Something she never felt like she received or experienced. Unfortunately her attitude had changed during her time with Musashi. She was more cold and uncaring. It seemed like she had lost most of her manners as well, since she acted quite rudely. Even when speaking to the Meta ships she didn't treat them as equal or with much respect. No. She spoke to them like Musashi speaks to them. Down. Like they were nothing but tools to be used. Which was the reason behind creating them.

Unicorn decided to reason with the Meta ships, who she had inquired tended to logically analyze things more so than on emotions. So, she used the fact that Musashi was loosing her ability to lead, and would eventually all lead them to destruction because once they kill off the remaining ships left. The Sirens will turn on them and they won't have the necessary forces to defend themselves. Even though the Sirens had promised they would not hurt them, Unicorn knew it was a lie. A lie even Musashi knew, but she didn't care. And Unicorn made that point crystal clear to the Meta ships.

Unicorn also promised the Meta ships that she'd make more of them. That with all the samples they've collected it wouldn't be hard. It's just that Musashi won't allow it. The reason being was that she wanted to control a small group. If the group got too big she'd loose too much control and she couldn't have that. But Unicorn on the other hand was more flexible and more clever. She knew even if they made more Meta ships, she could probably control them under a guise or a united lie. Planning to use the first gen Meta ships to gain the new Meta ships trusts.

This plan seemed fool proof. But Unicorn had come to realize that the Meta ships were loyal to Musashi. They knew that she was loosing it, and that all their deaths were inevitable. Like they had all accepted the fact that they are the means to the end and are willing to sacrifice themselves if it makes her and Musashi happy. Hard wired to obey and please their creator no matter the cost. No matter their oppositional thoughts or feelings. Telling Unicorn that they will not go against Musashi.

Unicorn decided that if Musashi was out of the way, than the Metas would obey her. Since she's second in command. So... Unicorn decided to go to the Sirens. Making a secret deal with them, knowing that they want to take Musashi out. That she is one of the most strongest ships still standing. And the Sirens found it a great opportunity to take out the leader of a soon to be enemy opposition in a more quicker and effective and efficient way.

Unicorn led Musashi out to sea. Under the ruse that the Meta ships had tracked down the last remaining Azur Lane ships to this location. Musashi unaware of Unicorns betrayal, followed her without any Meta ship back up. Right into an ambush. The Sirens had already analyzed Musashi's weakness, and they used Unicorn to exploit it even more. Unicorn had been poisoning Musashi these past few days. Of course the poison went unnoticed for the past few days and would soon take effect right about now. Which was scheduled as planned. Musashi was shocked, looking at Unicorn as her friends looked at her once before she had them executed. Unicorn would never forget it. Haunting her.

But Musashi also smiled. Like she was so proud of Unicorn. That she had done something like this. And just like that the Sirens executed Musashi. Well after some resistance. Since the drug didn't take effect right away and it only hindered her greatly but not fully. But in the end, Musashi was taken down.

Unicorn quickly sailed away. Knowing that once Musashi was gone, the Sirens would turn on her next. Quickly returning back to the base she and Musashi once shared. Informing the Meta ships that the Sirens got Musashi, making up an elaborate lie of how it happened. The Meta ships were now under Unicorns command. And this was only the beginning. Unicorn began to create more Meta ships with the samples of fallen ships. But while she was doing this she discovered an old photograph taken. It was of her, and her friends. When they were all alive. A distant memory in the past. Unicorn began to tear up. All of these feelings she had pushed deep down suddenly began to surface. She felt so guilty of what happened. So sad and angry on how she lent a hand in it and how she could do such a thing.

There was nobody left anymore that truly loved her. Illustrious had died. Wales. All her friends. The ships that once believed in her. Only the Meta ships were with her, and they're only with her because of a lie. Unicorn couldn't bare it. She grabbed a Siren blade and held it to her wrist. She wanted to cut herself and end it here. But she hesitated. What stopped her? Fear? Fear of the pain? Fear of death? Of what would happen next? No. The realization that if she did this than it would all be for nothing. The Meta ships would be left without a leader. The Sirens would have their way.

What would be the fate than? Who knows...
