Was Jungkook for real?

Mr "Don't be incompetent and show up to all meetings" had the audacity to not show up to the meeting of their lawyers. He sent Jimin as a representative and Lisa spent the whole two hours glaring at him.

Seo Yeji, the iconic actress, reached out to her in her DMs asking for a dress. She had come herself to the store, and Lisa left Sorn with her because of this goddamn meeting Jungkook dismissed so easily.

She couldn't even leave because that would be disrespectful, besides she couldn't completely trust this situation to be handled correctly without her supervision. She trusted Chaeyoung but she also knew Jungkook's lawyer, who worked formerly for her father. He was a sneaky billionaire who amassed a fortune thanks to his ability to trick people indirectly. Same energy as Jimin, another tricky man. Jungkook knew so well what he was doing. Yet, he didn't show up to sign the papers nor discuss with her anything, which touched a nerve (or many) and got her grinding her teeth.

She couldn't convince Jimin to change his mind about her name being in the deeds of the house she and Jungkook were going to receive. If Jungkook were there she could have persuaded him so easily... Maybe that was why he avoided this situation.

The coward...

"Can I just go look for him?" She suggested after Jimin told her no in the most polite way for the fourth time. "We can move the meeting to his office and-"

"Jungkook is not at his office."

"Eh?" No way that control freak workaholic wouldn't be in his office. "Where is he? Suddenly sunbathing on the terrace and eating cake?!" She narrowed her eyes and pointed at Jimin, threateningly. "He better not be eating stupid cake!"

It couldn't be that she was here discussing their marriage (divorce, actually) and he was with his stupid little mistress. Ah, no, she was going to take the diamond ring on her finger and shove it down his throat.

She had to do that in case he decided to give his pancake this one too after the divorce. The shameless bastard.

Her eggs were so dried again.

"A local brand is interested in opening a shop here."

Lisa frowned, disbelief calming her down. Her father always used to send the PR team to that kind of reunion, they were the ones to start the long process that would go through four departments of Manoban and Co's before finally reaching the main office. Marco was so busy he could only receive the whole project with its complete, correct analysis and reports to approve or deny. Therefore, Lisa completely got that Jungkook avoided this deliberately.
