"Wh-what?" Jungkook pulled her even closer, his arms moved without his permission because he was busy trying to recover his breath yet he had made it ten times more difficult by exposing himself to her closeness and sincere wide eyes.

Despite waiting for this for years, he would never have expected it to really happen. Lisa wasn't the type to apologise, she didn't even acknowledge to be wrong, how could he have anticipated such a thing to happen?

Lisa nodded, assuring him that the words that had come from her mouth were true and not part of a sudden schizophrenic episode.

He released her like she was made of burning iron and his body moved back, tensing on the sofa. The knot in his throat hurt when he swallowed it. "You-you have to be specific."

"Specific?" Lisa frowned.

He ruffled his hair, nodding, "Yes, specific."

"Specific how?"

"Specific about what you're sorry for."

"Everything, Jungkook."

"That's not specific!" He snapped, opening his arms.

"I don't know what you mean!" She grew frustrated too.

He stood up, he had to walk around since sitting next to her was driving him insane. It felt surreal, like a dream. His feet needed to walk on the floor, feel the hardness and the cold night. "Specific as in what you did yesterday, last week, last month or..." his voice trailed off, the knot was forming again in his throat.

He turned around and everything was a blur, his ears were clogged just as his eyes were struggling to focus on anything but her, yet it was impossible since his emotions were all over the place and his thoughts were running 10 thousand miles a minute.

What did she mean by "everything"? The present? The past? What she did? The cheating? The lies?

Why? Why now?

Lisa's frown deepened on her forehead and her lips pouted. "I didn't do anything yesterday."

Was she serious? Was she seriously focusing on that?

"Lisa..." He cast her a knowing look.

"I mean, nothing that serious."

"You can't be real."

"Gosh! Do you want me to also apologise for calling you Chilli Flakes?"

"You said everything!"

She let out a little gasp mixed with a laugh. "I'm sorry for calling you Chilli Flakes," she said softly, but her tone was contained.

He narrowed his eyes. "You know damn well this isn't about Chilli Flakes."

"So you like it?" She genuinely asked.
