Chapter Eight

What Seokjin told me yesterday kept replaying all night in my head .
" I believe you and support you, Sara"
It made me more confident and happy.

I looked at my phone and saw a text from Seokjin .
" We need to talk about something important "

I took my bag and walked to the campus. On my way there I saw a white cat standing in the middle of the road.

It was adorable, I am not gonna deny that but something creeped me out. Maybe how its eyes looked straight into my eyes ?

I wanted to look away but something about how it looked at me kinda prevented me.

My eyes widened when a car came speeding. I gasped thinking the car hit the cat but when the car was gone....so was the cat. As if it was not even there.

I breathed in slowly trying to calm myself down. I need to take some vitamins or supplements . Am I imagining things now? Or am I just stressed from what was happening?

I reached the campus and saw Professor Ghim giving Mr Chung some money. We all know how generous she is. She really helps everyone in need.

Sunji waved at me and pulled me inside quickly.
" Sara! You won't believe this! " She said excitedly.

" What happened?" I asked looking around. A lot of students were talking in groups and whispering about something.

" After you left , Mr Chung kept saying what happened and how you were reacting. A lot of students talk nonsense about the third floor but everyone believed your story!!" She said.

" Yeah?? Cause I still can't believe it myself" I rolled my eyes.

" Something happened yesterday evening!" She whispered.
I looked at her curiously.

" A lot of students where at the third floor practicing in every room. Even the professors were there. We were all doing our thing but then the lights went off!" She said in shock.

" What about that? It happens Sunji, lights go out everywhere " I sighed.

" Just listen! When that happened, Seokjin went out of the building to check the main electricity box. But when he looks at the building he saw it was lit from inside normally, so he thought the lights came back. But when he went back in , it was still off. He told Professor Lee, but she seemed unbothered about it. So he told Professor Ghim and she went to check with him and he was right. From outside it looked like the lights were on. But inside, it was not. Professor Ghim panicked and made the students leave as she said it may be dangerous " Sunji said in shock.

I looked at her not saying anything.
So that is what Seokjin wanted to talk about? Was I that dumb to think he wanted to talk about...us?

" Why are you not reacting? You and professor Lee know something, don't you??" She asked confused.

" What?? Sunji don't put me and professor Lee in the same sentence. I am just kinda overwhelmed. I just wanna graduate and leave this place. I don't want to put myself into more trouble" I shook my head.

" Leave the place?? I bet you don't wanna leave the place empty handed , do you?" She said smirking.

" What?" I asked blushing. " No...just leave the place " I said looking away acting unbothered.

" Seokjin!!" She called which made me look at where she was looking quickly . She giggled at my reaction but I tried to act normal as Seokjin approached us.

" Hey!" He said smiling.
" Someone was so excited to meet you..." She said mischievously.
" To know what happened yesterday of course " she continued .

I looked at her smiling trying to hide the fact that I may kill her if she continues like this.

" Anyway...I need to finish some stuff. See you later!" She said waving and walked away.

Seokjin looked at me giving me what-is-she-talking-about look.

" Don't worry Seokjin, she doesn't know anything " I said shaking my head.

He raised his eyebrow. " What do you mean?"

" I mean about us meeting without her...or texting " I said looking away blushing.

" You knew what happened yesterday of course, right? Nothing here is kept secret" he said changing the subject for me.

" Yeah...so we can finally say this building is creepy. Can't they just change the location of our college?" I asked.

" No way , Sara. This place has been for Music college for years. Plus professor Ghim asked the principles more than once to change the place but her request was denied. " He shook his head.

" She did?? Does that mean she went through all of this too?? She knows something is creepy right?" I asked.

" I never asked her...maybe I will . We will try to search for anything that can lead us to answers. " He said thinking about it.

When he looked at me he saw that I was looking at Mr Chung, who was also looking at us. The three of us exchanged glances.

Mr Chung definitely knows something important.
