"I want to be your boyfriend" he whispered in a raspy voice into my ears making my cheeks and ears heat up and my heart race faster.

Present

My heart was beating out of my chest as the feeling of his warm breath lingered on my earlobe , driving me crazy.

I tried to push him with everything I had but it seemed he expected that and didn't budge in the slightest.

"Stop running away from your fate"
He said in a raspy whisper but this time his mouth traveled along my ear towards my temple.

At this point I couldn't form words or think straight.

"So now what ? Would you let me be your boyfriend?" He asked as he pulled back and looked into my eyes.

I was shocked yes, but not because of his actions , his actions didn't surprise me as much the fact that ... I wanted to say yes...

Ring Ring

My phone rang to save me from what I might have agreed to , I looked at the screen as I saw it was .. dad?!

"I gotta take this"
He scowled

"Ok" he gave me space and I accepted the call and walked away.

"Hello" I spoke on the phone

I had gone to the mansion when I was told but as always dad got busy and he never showed up. The mansion is fairly farther away from here so I don't reside there.
I ended up spending another one of my many nights alone in a huge house with no one but servants around.

"On your way home come to Tan's house, Y/n" he said in a plain firm voice.

"But dad-" I started but heard the line end suddenly making me stop in my trance.

I thought young do might be listening so I immediately recovered and started talking to silence.

"Okay dad , I see , yes I'm doing okay , I'll be there"
"Seeya dad" I finished and pretended to end the call.

I kept looking at the screen for a while feeling pain in my chest as tears started threatening my eyes.

This never gets old.
Having one family member in the whole wide world , one person who doesn't get paid to serve you or be there for you and you never see him too or hear him.
And when you do ..  you don't matter, you're not even worth his time , he can't answer? He doesn't even bother listening to what you have to say..

That's my life.

Its a miracle I get to be in Korea, with the kind of family I have.
It's a Miracle he listened this one time.
It's the only thing I ever got
Everything else was given to me.
I had no say.

And that is why,  it is crucial I don't mess with this. And this is why Young do has to stay away.
No matter how I feel about him.

I turned around with my heart not pounding anymore.
As expected he was there waiting for me.

I looked at him feeling determined

"You done?"He asked

"Stay away from me" I yelled in frustration all of a sudden.

"Please" tears fell down my eyes as I turned around unable to hold it anymore and I sprinted away.

Young do looked hurt , but so was I,  I just wanna have this one thing all to and for myself.

After school I stopped by at Tan's place even though I didn't want to.
I just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
