The ladies of Beauxbatons were having their morning meal, murmurs and blabbers can be heard from all around the room. All seventh years were talking about putting their name in the Goblet of Fire later this evening—as the years below them were discussing the sudden change of their class schedules which happened in the middle of the night.

"How come they changed our schedule in eight hours? In the middle of the night." Amelie ranted as she stuffed her face with extra-sweetened waffles. "And the fact that us, fifth years would join the fourth years in two of our subjects." She continued as she finished chewing the remains of her food.

"I don't mind it if you ask me, as long as we don't do babysitting. From what I heard, the Hogwarts kids have the ex-auror Alastor Moody as their Dark Arts professor, so, fine by me." Charlotte shrugged, sipping her morning tea.

"And you, beau? What are your thoughts?" Amelie asked the girl across from her who has her nose buried in a thick fantasy book in hand.

Astrid raised her head upon hearing her friend and faced the two of them in front of her. "Uh, I agree with Charlotte. It's only for Dark Arts and potions— though we might babysit at some point, but other than that... it's also fine by me." She shrugged as she went back to her book and sips her green tea.

"Ugh—so I'm the only one making a big deal out of it? I mean, I don't mind it really, since there will be these cute guys from the two other schools, but I don't have the freedom if we're stuck in a class." Amelie whined, earning a scold from Charlotte who was sitting beside her, clearly annoyed.

All fourth and fifth-year students from all three schools were separated into two batches; Gryffindor, Slytherin, the first half of Beauxbatons, and the first half of Durmstrang. Then Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, the second half of Beauxbatons, and the second half of Durmstrang. Both batches have their agenda and will remain classmates in their Dark Arts and Potions throughout the rest of the year.

Fortunately enough, the top five students of Beauxbatons fifth years were assigned to join the first batch of students—which includes the top three; Astrid, Charlotte, and Amelie. And it is a real treat for the trio.

"Well, this is it." Amelie sighed as they reached their Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom for the rest of their terms.

The ten Beauxbatons ladies, five each year cautiously yet confidently entered the fairly large classroom. The room went silent as soon as the ladies dressed in satin blue entered. Girls dressed in red and green robes stared at each of them, noticing how much confidence emits from them walking in alone. But all prying eyes soon dropped to Astrid, and she knows all eyes were on her.

"Quelle foule difficile." [What a tough crowd.] Amelie said under her breath. "Tout le monde vous regarde." [Every single one is staring at you.] She teased, letting out a short giggle as she glanced at the brunette beside her.

The group of girls halted behind the desks, unsure where to sit. There are quite a lot of vacant seats, but Durmstrang was yet to arrive. Suddenly a girl with long brown hair dressed in black and red stood up and spoke, catching everyone's attention.

"You can sit anywhere you'd like." She announced, gesturing at the vacant seats.

Astrid, who's assigned to be the first half of Beauxbatons prefect took a step closer upfront and offered the shorter brunette in red a smile, "Thank you, Madame...?" She trailed off.
