XIXWoosh.
Twisting.
Churning.
And sick feeling of apperating.
Freshly cut grass.
Wet.
Cold.
And somber.
Eyes fluttering open.
Brows furrowing.
And lips pursing.
A decently large, moldy-bricked home came into view.
A home that housed a Wizard known to kill anyone who crossed their path.
A Wizard who inspired fear and warnings for others to never meddle with.
The very Wizard Astrid was about to confront and deceive.
The wooden door creaked as they entered. Astrid was escorted by the wolf-like man, a smirk firmly planted on his face, exuding confidence.
The corridors they passed through were dim and eerily quiet, devoid of any signs of life.
Ascending the flight of stairs, Astrid followed closely behind, her soulless eyes concealing her fear. Her face remained as stoic as a rock, a testament to her bravery and ambition.
As they approached a room, muffled voices engulfed the pair, causing the man in front to glance briefly at Astrid with a taunting smile.
Soon, they came to a halt in front of a door. The man knocked eagerly, and without wasting a moment, the door swung open with a long, slow creak.
"Fenrir,"
There he was.
Voldemort.
He was sitting at a desk, with piles of papers above him, accompanied by Severus Snape and Bellatrix Lestrange.
"Astrid," Snape's voice was smooth and sharp, but his face clearly showed his shock upon seeing the fifteen-year-old.
Throughout Astrid's time at Hogwarts and Severus' task from Dumbledore, the pair had formed some kind of friendship.
While others were occupied with the tournament and their studies, Astrid spent her free periods delving into Advanced Potions, despite only being a fifth-year.
1994, Potions Classroom
"I'll be right behind you lot," Astrid bid her friends as she sorted her belongings from her desk into her bag.
