After the adults put Miri to bed they said goodnight to each other and went to their rooms, Norie winced as she held her belly and sat on the end of the bed. Rei was grabbing her PJs to help her dress as he looks at her.

"Norie?"

"I'm okay, he's just been really kicky. Come here" she says and asked for his hand.

Rei let Norie grab it and placed it on the side of her bump, he flinched slightly when he felt the babys foot on his hand making her laugh and say "I never get use to it"

"How much longer?"

"Don't worry we'll meet him soon, Can you get me my lotion? It's in the bathroom please" Norie said as she grabs her sweater.

Rei walked to the bathroom as he says "Miri saw some onesies for the baby at the store today, she wanted to get them for you"

"I told her to wait a little longer till the babys born, it might be in a few weeks"

He noticed how quiet it was, Rei sighed and figured Norie had fallen asleep. He finds the lotion and walks out of the bathroom.

"Did you hear-"

Rei stopped when Norie was holding her belly as water traveled down her legs and onto the floor, she looked at him and smiled weakly.

"Changed that to today"

"Do you think mama would be okay?" Miri says as she ate some licorice.

"Your mama is strong! She can take down dozens of men with one Kunai, I know she can go through this. Yeah, she'll be in pain but she's got this!" The blonde responded while they sat in the living room watching TV.

"What about Papa Rei?"

"Oh he's done for"

Rei stared at the wall in horror as Norie was lying in the hospital bed screaming in pain while gripping the handles next to her as her feet were resting on the foot rests.

"Suwa? Are you okay?" The nurse spoke as she got towels ready.

"That's how much she needs to be dilated?" He whispered in a rasp as he points to the diagram on the wall.

"Yes 10 cm, Suwa please don't faint. Your wife needs you present and she needs your support"

"...10 cm" Rei cracked out as he was cut off when Norie cried out.

"Is this suppose to hurt that much?! Oh my god!" She yelled as tears rolled down her eyes while her forehead was covered in sweat.

"Norie, hold my hand-"

Rei groaned when Norie immediately grabbed it and crushed his hand as she leaned her head back, a nurse checked underneath the blanket to see and nodded.
