Rei hasn't heard of Norie for over 2 days, not only that but seen her. Each time he would go for another job, he's expect to find her but nothing. But he had also been thinking about what she meant when she said that his father didn't tell him the whole story.
Was she trying to tell him that his father had lied to him?
It was 11pm and he sat on his couch playing video games, snacks and drinks covering the coffee table as he hadn't looked away from the screen
That is until the door rang, he paused his game and quickly aimed a gun he had beside him. It was suspicious immediately, who would come here around 11 at night, who was it.
Rei cautiously walked towards the door and leaned on the wall next to it, quickly he opened it and aimed the gun but a voice stopped him.
"Hold on its just me!"
Norie held her hand out, Rei stepped back as he saw her holding a wound on her abdomen. She smiled weakly and says "I promise I didn't ghost you, I just-"
She groaned as he grabbed her arm and brought her inside.
"I just had this job, left for 2 days. I just got back but I didn't realize one of his goons followed me back, he cut me with glasses since he tried to stab me" Norie spoke as she fell against the couch.
"You're lucky I didn't shoot you" Rei mumbled as he walked to the cupboard by the living room closet and took out a first aid kit.
"Yeah it would've been a bummer, I couldn't have gotten the chance to see you"
He felt his heart pound at her words but quickly cleared his throat as he grabbed cotton and rubbing alcohol.
"How did you even know where I live?" He asks.
"You're asking an assassin that question?" She chuckled slightly but then yelled when pain shot through her.
"Nevermind then" Rei mumbled.
Norie looked at him and breathed out "but really"
"I wanted to see you, but the job held me back. I also thought about how to approach you again but I didn't know how" she explained.
"You crossed my mind"
Norie froze at his sentence, Rei cut a piece of gauze as he says "now I don't have to wonder where you are"
She smiled softly before he looks at her and said "you're going to have to take your suit off"
Rei sighed at her soft smirk but soon felt his breath hitch when he saw Norie grab the zipper of her leather suit and pull it down slowly.
