i woke up the next day on jacobs couch. i was still sad over the smallest fight that paul and i have ever had. i think that paul was just angry after a run he went on with jared and sam. maybe they pushed him off. i know that my hormones were acting up.

bella and i still kept in touch. she's still like a sister to me. i'll always be a swan in her and charlie's eyes. i guess i'm a swan and black. i have two families. i always wondered why i was tanner than charlie and bella. i guess now i know.

bella and i were on the phone the other saying how she wanted me to meet the cullens. paul didn't want me to because their vampires but i know they wouldn't hurt me.

i drove to the cullens household which was only about a 30 minute drive. bella met me outside and opened the door for me. " hey, bells. been a while since we last hung out." i told her as she hugged me.

"i know. how are you and paul?" she asked me. i sighed and put my hand on my growing baby bump. "well, we had a small fight yesterday over baby names and paul got mad and started yelling so i went to jakes house and stayed the night there." i told her. i knew whoever was in the house could here me, i didn't really care all the much. it's not something to be ashamed of.

"really? over names? well, paul was being very dumb." bella said as i chuckled. "yeah, i mean his anger issues are worse than jacobs." i laughed as the cullens walked into the room.

"hi, i'm esme. bella has told me so much about you."

"it's nice to meet you esme. bella has told me some about you in the past. all good don't worry." i laughed a little as Carslile came into my view.

"how the baby?" he asked me as we shook hands. "doing just fine. we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet. i'm hoping it's a girl." i smiled and looked down at my bump.

"i bet you it's gonna be a boy." i heard someone say. "oh, i'm emmet, nice to meet you. i'm sure we'll be best friends." he smiled as we shook hands. he then picked me up and twirled me around.

once he put me on the ground i slapped him in the back of the head. "you should know not to mess with a pregnant lady. especially if she's your friend." i laughed as he rubbed the spot i hit him at.

"i love her. can we keep her?" emmet asked giddily. "emmet she's not a pet. hi, i'm Rosalie." bella told me at first she didn't like bella but that she does now.

"nice to meet you." i smiled at her.

"you must me jasper and alice." i asked them more in question.

"hi! yes that's us. it is so great to finally meet you! i had a vision this would happen and it finally has!" alice exclaimed as she brought me into a hug.

"alice you don't want to smuggle the poor girl. i think we're going to be great friends cadence." jasper said as he shook my hand.

"oh don't worry you will because i've seen it!" she clapped her hands together and we all laughed.

we had dinner later on and bella and i slept overnight at the cullens. i had some great time getting ti know them in just one night. jacob and paul were gonna get onto me in the morning though.
