"CADENCE, HONEY. WE NEED TO GO HOME NOW." paul came storming through the doors of the cullen home.

i stood up, meeting eyes with a concerned bella, "what? why? what's wrong? i'm here to help bella. the cullens need it really bad." i tried to tell him but he just grabbed my wrist and dragged me along.

he huffed, "they don't need your help, baby. edward did this to bella and he's going to live with that for the rest of eternity when that thing-"

"—baby." you interrupted him.

"—kills her." he put you in the front seat of the car and buckled you up. "i can do it on my own, thanks. i'm not completely useless." i sneered.

paul slammed my door and got into the drivers side, "sams been thinking about killing bella and the baby." he blurted out as we were on the road, as we were minutes away from the house.

i glared at him, "you're going to what?!" i yelled. "the pack is not killing my best friend and my niece. not if i have a say in this." i jumped out of the car—completely aware i was due any day now and walked inside grabbing my suitcase from my room.

when i was done packing i saw the pack in the living room, waiting for my arrival, "so, you're leaving? just like that? after everything we've been through?" jacob spoke first. everyone looked sad and hurt that i was leaving but i had to leave. i had to warn the cullens.

i sighed, "i don't want any part of you killing bella and her baby. i can't live with the fact that y'all are going to killing a person. a living human. i though you were supposed to protect them, not kill them." i grabbed my car keys and slammed the door of the house shut.

when i got in my car i immediately made a B-line for the cullen house. when i finally got there i ran as quick as i could. one of the cullens—emmet cullen, came running out of the house. "cay, don't run! what are you thinking? you're baby is almost due—any day now and i'll see my nephew." he grinned, picking me up bridal style.

i laughed, "thank you for carrying me, emmet. it feels a whole lot better than standing and having to try to run becuase i have to warn you all." i rambled.

emmet gave me a concerned look and brought me to where the rest of the cullens were, "what do you have to tell us, cadence?" carslile stood up, greeting me as emmet put me down so i could fully stand on my own.

"paul—the pack—they told me that their going to kill bella and her baby. and jakes fine with that? i couldn't believe for a second that he was. we all know how much he loves her but can't have her becuase she's edwards and he's hers." i rambled. i wasn't trying to ramble but i do it whenever i'm worried about something.

edward brought me into a hug. over the last few weeks of me staying at the cullen household edward and i have actually gotten closer. he is my brother-in-law. even though bella and i aren't biologically related i still grew up with her as if we were related.

"it's okay. we already knew. alice saw a vision of it happening." edward reassured me.

i saw that bella was drinking something red. vampire and a human baby. the baby would need blood, "you're letting her drink blood?" i put my hand up. "wait. don't answer that. i completely understand why." i corrected myself.

"i need to use the restroom." rosalie and i went over to help bella up. i gave her her cup becuase i knew the baby would want some blood right away.

we all started talking when bella's knees buckled and she fell to the ground. edward couldn't stop her from falling but he could stop her from her head hitting the ground.

edward, rosalie and i brought her into the medical room. i called up jake and he was there within less than 10 minutes. emmet, esme and carslile had to go feed becuase they could only survive so long without eating something and they didnt want to hurt bella.

i started to have small contractions as i bent over in pain. jake came over to me but i waved him off,  "go. help, bella. she need it more than me right now." i told him. he looked at me hesitantly.

i kept giving small breaths. blowing in and out. i kept going out of consciousness. everything had turned black before i knew.

the last thing i was thinking about was wether my baby would come out safely.
