John's POV

I stumbled into the kitchen, still buzzing from the adrenaline rush of seeing Rocky's hammer. Mama was already there, chopping vegetables, while Piku was playing with his toy truck.

As we sat down for breakfast, I couldn't help but think about the events of the morning. My papa was busy with his newspaper, mama was pouring the tea, and Piku was playing with his food. And then there was Rocky, who was sitting there like nothing had happened. I couldn't believe that I had seen his...well, you know.

I tried to focus on my food, but couldn't help but feel a bit awkward knowing what I had seen earlier. I tried my best to act normal, but my mind kept drifting back to the image of Rocky standing there in all his glory.

After breakfast, Papa turned to Rocky and said, "Son, I need you to come to the office with me today. We have some important meetings."

Rocky nodded in agreement, and they left together, leaving Mama, Piku, and me in the kitchen. But just as he was about to walk out the door, I couldn't resist saying something.

"Hey Rocky, nice hammer," I blurted out without thinking.

My heart sank as I realized what I had just said. I looked around the table, hoping my parents hadn't heard me. But to my surprise, they were completely oblivious to what I had just said.

Rocky, on the other hand, just gave me a smirk and a nod before walking out the door with my dad. I couldn't believe how mature and confident he acted, like nothing had even happened.

As the door closed behind them, my mom turned to me with a confused look on her face. "What did you say?" she asked.

"Oh, nothing," I replied, trying my best to act cool and composed.

"Well, John, it's just you and me now," Mama said with a smile, patting my head affectionately.

I grinned back at her, feeling grateful for my family and the crazy, unexpected moments that brought us closer together. But inside, I couldn't help but feel a mixture of embarrassment and envy. Rocky had everything that I didn't, and it was hard not to be a little jealous.
