Meet's POV
As the sun stretched its golden fingers over the horizon, I sprung from my bed like a hyperactive jack-in-the-box, buzzing with the anticipation of our upcoming camping trip. I practically danced around my room, throwing random items into my backpack with all the finesse of a tornado in a china shop. Clothes? Check. Snacks? Double check. Portable karaoke machine? Well, obviously. You never know when a spontaneous campfire sing-along might break out, and I refuse to be caught unprepared.
With each item I packed, my mind conjured up images of the adventures that awaited us. There would be fishing expeditions on the tranquil lake, where I would undoubtedly catch the biggest fish ever seen by human eyes—probably. And then there were the marshmallow roasts, where I planned to perfect the art of achieving the perfect golden-brown char without setting myself on fire. Ambitious? Perhaps. But hey, a camper can dream, right?
But amidst all the excitement and daydreaming, there was one particular scenario that played on repeat in my mind like a catchy pop song—my charming Daddy Rajbhir, shirtless and rugged, chopping wood like a modern-day lumberjack. Oh, be still my fluttering heart! The thought alone was enough to make me swoon like a lovesick damsel in distress.
And then there was Leo. Ah, Leo—the unexpected addition to our camping crew. I could only hope that he wouldn't rain on our parade with his constant complaints and snide remarks. But who knows? Maybe, just maybe, this trip would be the turning point in our tumultuous relationship. Or maybe not. A boy can dream, can't he?
Just as I was lost in my reverie, Johnny burst into the room like a whirlwind of chaos and excitement, practically vibrating with energy. "Meet, darling, you won't believe the plans I've designed for this camping adventure! We're talking snacks galore—enough to feed a small village, I tell you! And as for our...shall we say, 'extracurricular activities'? Well, let's just say they're enough to make even the most hardened scout blush like a ripe tomato!"
I couldn't help but giggle like a pair of schoolgirls gossiping about their latest crushes. "Oh, Johnny, you naughty minx! What exactly do you have in mind to catch the eye of our hunky daddies?" I teased, waggling my eyebrows suggestively.
Johnny's eyes sparkled with mischief as he leaned in conspiratorially. "Well, my dear Meet-u, picture this: a moonlit stroll by the lake, hand in hand with our dashing daddies, gazing up at the stars like a pair of star-crossed lovers. And then, just as the moment reaches its peak of romantic perfection, we unleash our secret weapon—karaoke serenades under the twinkling night sky!"
I couldn't contain my laughter at the absurdity of it all. "Oh, Johnny, you're a genius! Our daddies won't know what hit them!" I exclaimed, clutching my stomach as tears of mirth threatened to spill from my eyes.
As tears of mirth threatened to spill from my eyes, there came a sudden knock on the door, interrupting our giggling fit. Johnny and I turned to see my daddy, Rajbhir, standing there in all his tall, handsome glory. His shirt was unbuttoned at the top, revealing a glimpse of his muscular chest, and a mischievous twinkle danced in his eyes.
