"Do you think they're still alive?"
Yuna stopped trying desperately to remove the dried blood from under her fingernails at Tae-min's question. She stared at the ground in front of them before looking up at the small brunette prostrate a little further away.
The fact that she could hear their conversation was almost certain.
So this was probably not the best time to bring up the subject. Nevertheless, it was time for On-jo to come to her senses. They didn't even have the luxury of mourning their loss.
They had to survive first.
"They are dead." She replied soberly."The moment they are bitten, they cease to exist. Don't misunderstand me, Tae-min."
The heavy weight of her words echoed throughout the silent room as she could feel many eyes on their trio.
After the incident with I-Sak, they had all scattered to the four corners of the room.
Dae-Su, Woo-jin, Gyeong-su, and Jun-Yeoung guarded one of the doors while On-jo and the two girls sat at one of the lab benches. Cheong-San was watching On-jo from a distance and Na-Yeon was as usual in her corner.
And then there was their trio.
Yuna had been the first to sit on the floor, her legs stretched out in front of her. She was just plain exhausted, empty of energy.
Nam-ra had as usual joined her side and not surprisingly, Tae-min had rushed to stick to her side. He was really sticky when he got into it.
"What about Lee Su-hyeok? Do you think he's still alive?"
Yuna tightened her fist at her side at the mention of the boy before holding back from taking out her nerves on the idiot at her side. His stupid questions were seriously starting to infuriate her.
Not to mention that Yuna had had time to think about the situation. Her concern had soon turned into anger.
A wave of anger barely contained, to be honest.
She could barely contain herself.
She was mad with rage even.
Why did they all have to be in this situation?
Na-Yeon was understandable but her and the others?
It was so damn unfair.
"I hope he's one of them," Yuna said darkly through clenched teeth.
"WHA-that crazy girl..." Tae-min murmured with wide eyes before using his index and middle fingers to push her head firmly."Have you lost your mind? What did the poor guy do to you?"
Yuna straightened her head before giving the jerk a blood-curdling look."Why? Did someone ask him to split? That jerk..."
Tae-min was speechless as he shook his head at the insensitive brunette."Whoa, I really worry about you sometimes."
