Finally, Yuna and Tae-min had come to a truce.
Or at least, Nam-ra and Cheong-san had devoted themselves to keeping the duo silent.
Thus, they had all been able to release the pressure for a short time. Long enough for Yuna not to feel the incessant pain in all her muscles. She was still exhausted.
After all, she had been able to close her eyes for a moment. And then the nightmares came.
She'd never been one to be afraid to go to sleep, but she was sure she'd seen enough blood and heard enough bones break in the last 24 hours to have a lifelong trauma.
Regardless of whether they survived or not, one thing was certain, they would never be the same.
At this grim thought, Yuna hesitated for a moment before giving a quick glance over her shoulder at her sleeping comrades.
However, she soon paused as she made sudden eye contact with Cheong-San. She tried to give him a semblance of a smile but it looked more like a grimace.
Realizing her own stupidity, Yuna immediately looked away before noisily clearing her throat. She realized her mistake far too late as this simple noise was enough to wake Nam-ra and On-jo from their stupor.
"Sorry," Yuna murmured as she raised her hand in an awkward greeting before quickly pushing herself away from the window as On-jo decided to approach Cheong-San.
Instead, she moved to the place the latter previously occupied to face Nam-ra.
Nam-ra kept her arm extended on the table before leaning her head on it again. Yuna understood the message as Nam-ra gave a look to the other two girls still sleeping. So she quickly copied the position of the silent girl.
For a moment, Yuna felt sleep catching up with her again.
Unfortunately, she had hardly closed her eyelids when Nam-ra chose this moment to break the silence with a whisper."What are you going to do?"
"Mhm?"
Yuna opened her eyes again to observe the calm brunette only the latter merely gave a nod in the direction of one of the peacefully sleeping boys.
Understanding what she meant, Yuna shrugged her shoulders."What's there to do?"
"Are you really going to act like nothing happened?" Suddenly exclaimed the class president usually uninterested in gossip.
Letting out a sigh, Yuna shrugged her shoulders again before closing her eyelids with a slight frown."What do you want me to do? It's not like he feels the same way about me. Don't worry about me. Rejection is the last thing on my mind right now."
