"Hinote...how much trouble were you in?" Yasu asked, to which he smiled. "Never you mind that, and please both of you call me Hijiri. I promise im not that big of a jerk. Especially to girls, okay?" I blinked a couple times. Hijiri was like a whole other person when that Hidoi wasn't involved. "Sorry, that we had to meet in such a...troublesome way... That Hidoi seems to bring out the worst in people, wouldn't you agree?" Hijiri leaned on a locker as Yasu grabbed her backpack. "I think, your the only troublesome one here, did you really blow up a car?" I asked. He shrugged. "I mean....yeah, but...its normal..." My face must've been in pure shock because Hijiri said. "Now, now, that's not the most impressive thing I've done."

This would have been a normal conversation, except Hijiri's tone was almost like he was flirting with us. I had no clue how to react to that. "I...well...did you-" I was interrupted by Yasu. "Wow, Hijiri, what other impressive things have you done? Are you an A student, or were you student of the year once? That would be pretty impressive." She said.

Hijiri looked surprised and thought for a moment. "Well, I can't say I've got an A in any class, but I have-" "Neither of us are interested in a boy who goes to jail as a hobby. Sorry." Yasu interrupted again. I couldn't help but laugh a little. Then I heard another voice in the hallway. "See Hinote, no one likes you either, it seems you, are just a hopeless romantic...oh well." Hidoi laughed. "Oh, Oh! I'm the hopeless romantic, right. Right! You've never dated anyone before. Have you? 'Cause your in love with...who is it....That one girl from Genshin Impact?" Hidoi looked a mixture of mad and embarrassed. "No! I never said that! Plus I played that games years ago!!"

I nudged Yasu's shoulder. "Lets go before they start fighting again." Yasu nodded and we quickly walked to the auditorium to grab my backpack. Since the four schools had to be in one place, this year the schools gathered at Tesuoto High.

"Don't you think I'm way better than Hidoi- hey..." Hijiri turned around to see the two girls gone from where they were before. "Hah, not everyone thinks your prince charming." Hidoi laughed again. Hijiri sighed in annoyance and left to get his backpack from the auditorium. Hidoi rolled his eyes and got his phone from his backpack, then walked out of the school in silence.

I grabbed my backpack from the seat and texted my mom to pick me up at Tesuoto. Yasu waited for me and went on her phone as well. "Wanna trade numbers, here's my phone number." She said. I smiled. "Yes!" I quickly replied to my mom and typed in Yasu's phone number, then showed her my phone number so that we could text each other over the two months before the trip.

We both walked out of the auditorium and passed by Hijiri, who only glanced at us and half-waved. Since it was the middle of January it was still pretty cold where we lived, so as we opened the door to the outside, we were met with a burst of cold wind. I kinda wish I had Hidoi's beanie, or Hijiri's jacket. Wait...no....I wish I had a beanie or jacket. Uh oh...wait. Was my brain falling in love with the world's two worse boys ever? No. Of course not, just. "I wish I had Hijiri's jacket right now..." I said, shivering. Wait. Why did I say that out loud? Am I freezing to death? I watched a movie where the main character was freezing cold and started saying nonsense. Oh no... This isn't good, I'm going to die of the cold before I get to go on the trip!

"His jacket does seem pretty warm. Same with Hidoi's beanie- oh..." Right as Yasu said that, Hidoi turned around and gave her a look. "Hey! It's my hat, and your not taking it!" He yelled through the wind. We both laughed. "I didn't know he was right there..." Yasu said through her embarrassed laughter. "...Am I really that unnoticeable?" Hidoi said again, a little quieter, with the same icy tone. I shrugged. "Kind of." Hidoi rolled his eyes and turned back to the road, waiting for his ride home.

Later, a new looking truck pulled up to the pick-up line, no one moved, must be Hijiri's ride. The truck stayed where it was and shortly after none other than Hijiri left the school, he walked up to Yasu and I, and handed us a paper. "Call me." He said quietly, probably so that Hidoi wouldn't hear. Yasu rolled her eyes. "Right, like thats going to happen." She called to Hijiri as he got in the truck. "Oh. My ride is here as well, see you Reia! bye Hidoi." She said, then entered a silver colored car. "Now..two people call me Hidoi...gosh.." Hidoi said.

I should at least try to be friends with the others, right? I walked over to him. "Would you prefer to be called Kyoufu?" I asked him. He glared at me. "What do you think?" I thought for a second. "Yes?" He sighed. "Wow...so observant. I thought I was unnoticeable." He said. I didn't understand how every word he said sounded so cold. "Well, that's not exactly what I meant." I said. "Oh, is there another definition of, 'your kind of unnoticeable' that I don't know about?" He said bitterly. I didn't have anything to say to that. "Well. Its not that your unnoticeable its more that....um..." I felt as if anything I say would be the wrong thing to say, so I trailed off as I saw my mom's car pull up to the pick up line. "Never mind, I'll see you in two months, Kyoufu."

Kyoufu looked up, his expression softened. Did Reia just call him Kyoufu? "She called me Kyoufu....She...really did...." He said, watching as the car drove away.

"Who were you talking to?" My mom asked in a playful tone. "Some kid that's going on the trip with me. His name is Kyoufu Hidoi." I answered. "Ah...who else is going on the trip? Are you excited? Can I help you pack? When is it? Where is it? What will you be doing? And-" "Whoa. Mom, calm down. Hijiri and Yasu are the others going, I'm pretty excited for the trip. You can definitely help me pack, its the first week of spring break. Its at a science museum, and we will be doing sciency things." I said. Taking a long breath after explaining everything. "Wow, you sure know a lot about the trip, but its at a science museum, that's a shame..." My mom said. "I agree. But there is a formal dinner one of the nights, so its not all bad." I responded, she smiled at that. "A nice dinner? Your going to have the best dress there, understood?" I nodded in excitement.

My mom was a professional dress designer, her style is second to none, in my opinion and many others. She makes dresses for famous idles as well. And she's almost a celebrity herself. She makes most of my formal dresses and some of my outfits for casual wear too. I have a cat named Chiffon and my mom made a tiny dress for her, and a matching hat. Chiffon was a hairless cat, so even if she didn't look the cutest, her style and outfits were. In fact Chiffon had her own Social media account run by my mom. Though I'm not allowed social media, because of my mom's fam or something to keep me safe. I was ok with that. Whenever we went out in public my mom always wore sunglasses so people didn't recognize her. Though its not like without them my mom would have crowds of paparazzi at our doorstep. She's not as famous as Black Pink or anything. She's more like the designer of Black Pink's dresses. Actually that what she really is. Though I'm told to keep it a secret from the people at my school. The only person I've told is Suzu, and she's told no one in the world.

Once we arrived home I laid down in my bed and texted Yasu. I pulled out Hijiri's number and wondered if I should text him as well. I do want to become friends with everyone, so maybe just texting Hijiri once in a while...wouldn't be too bad. So I did just that. Texted him. And waited for a response. Until...

My ringtone played...
