James stomped furiously down the path towards The Warren's den. He was still in a foul mood when he reached the entrance, Mortimer blocked his path.
"Hold it, captain. You can't let you walk in like that; the Mistress will have my head for letting you in while you have one of your little temper tantrums." The old Masbosstiff grumbled with an unusual sense of authority in his voice.
"Get the fuck out of my way, old timer." He growled, shoving Mortimer aside with a huff.
He stormed into the cave, shouting at the top of his lungs. "Mistress! I need you here, now!" The Absol fumed.
A freezing chill crept up his spine, cooling his temper slightly. He saw disgruntled red eyes glaring at him through the darkness.
"Since when were you the one giving out commands, captain?" Mistriss Zoroark snarled, sending another chill running up his spine.
"S-sorry Mistress, I just have some news that I know you'll love to hear." James smiled deviously, the Zoroark turned her nose up slightly. "Well, deliver said news then." She said, her curiousness apparent in her shift in tone.
"It's about that Azalea girl, the Sylveon, who killed one of my- uh, our hunters. I went for a visit to see if she had changed her mind about us, and she attacked me with no good reason. She choked me until I almost passed out." James smirked before continuing. "I know you've wanted a good reason to be rid of her, so why not take this opportunity to take this little thorn out of our side?"
"Well, that is certainly something I wanted to hear—a good reason to avenge that poor hunter's untimely death." She grinned grimly. "Prepare the hunters with extra training; we have ourselves a Sylveon on the menu."
"Not just a Sylveon, an Umbreon too. Looks like she has a mate to me." He sneered, looking up at the Mistress.
She looked pensive, and after a couple minutes, she groaned. "That Umbreon is going to be a pain; after all, it's only dark types that are 'super-effective' against me."
James tilted his head in confusion. "But... aren't you a dark type, ma'am?" Mistress Zoroark only chuckled grimly. "Not at all; I have lived for centuries, captain. Being a 'ghost-normal' type has its perks, one of which is that I have outlived the bloodlines of Pokémon, ending many of them myself!" She cackled.
"Now then, captain, get to training those hunters; we need those two gone as soon as possible." She smirked. "Yes, ma'am, I'll be right on it."
The Mistress chuckled grimly to herself once more before returning to the main part of the cave...
