Azalea and Willow looked at the unconscious Umbreon before them, he was pretty badly wounded, deep cuts littered his body, a stream of blood trickled from his nose and splatted onto the cold stone floor every few seconds, the sound reverberating off of the walls. his breathing was heavy and laboured, he wheezed slightly with every exhale. His worst wound, however, was the scar above his left eye, it had reopened at some point during his fight and was bleeding profusely.

"A-Azalea, will Keir be alright?" Willow asked, tears streaming down her chestnut fur, Azalea shook her head. "Arceus, I hope so, Willow. Why did he have to be so fucking stupid and make a deal with that 'thing'?" She sobbed as she cleaned up the reopened scar with cotton; she zoned out as she did so, overthinking all the possible outcomes of what might happen to Keir.

"What are y-you gonna do about the tree?" Willow asked curiously, breaking her out of her trance. "Huh? Oh, right, the tree... I don't know yet. Maybe I c-can hire somemon to clear it when I t-take you home." She murmured, Willow looked somewhat shocked at what she had said.

"I'm not leaving Keir, not after I just got my big brother back!" She huffed, Azalea sighed sadly. "I know you don't want to, but you saw firstpaw, this place isn't really safe for you. I'm going to take you home tomorrow and I promise you, I will make sure he is safe." Azalea promised, Willow didn't respond for a while.

After an awkward minute of silence, Willow sighed and nodded. "Ok, Azalea, I t-trust you. When are we leaving?"

Azalea glanced at Keir, pondering. "We could leave at first light, though, I can't leave Keir here in that state..."

"Y-You could stay at our farm in F-Flat-top Ridge, you could bring him there and you could stay with me and m-mum, so we can both keep an e-eye on him." Willow suggested, Azalea shook her head slowly. "I'm... not sure, what about Keir? I'm sure he doesn't want to go back there, even if it has been roughly 2 months that he's been down here with me."

"I'm sure he'll be fine, don't wor-" Willow started, before Azalea cut her off. "No, you don't know what he was like when he first came down here. I-I couldn't even wear my cloak around him because it looked too similar to that Stoutland that... y'know..." She trailed off.

"P-please, Azalea! I don't want him to be far away w-while he recovers!" Willow pleaded. The two would go back-and-forth for a few minutes until Azalea finally caved.

"Arceus be damned, fine! I'll bring him to your farm, but if he freaks out, it's on your head!" Azalea warned, Willow happily went to lay down in anticipation of first light, almost instantly falling asleep.

Azalea sighed to herself before kissing Keir on the forehead. "I'm so sorry for what Willow's forcing me to do, Keir..." She whispered to him, knowing full well that he couldn't hear her.

She finished patching him up to the best of her abilities, then curled up next to him, dreading the next few days that lay ahead...
