(MOON POV)

"You heard... all of it?" I repeated. "As in... all of it?"

Including the part where I admitted to being able to 'delve into someone's memories' if they're thinking about them?

Sora gave a small nod, shrinking under Kaida's fierce glare.

"Mom's gonna kill me," I muttered, resting my head on my knees. "That's three people already, and it hasn't even been a week."

Sora, of course, had noticed my slip even before I did.

Three? Well, there's me, Kaida, and... wait. Who's the third? Are they gonna-

Her mind vehemently tossed that train of thought out the window, and for some unexplained reason, it felt like I was going with it. I flinched, blinking a few times.

"Maya? You good?" Kaida sat back down, and I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah. Sorry. Parents are starting to arrive for the kids who don't have dorms, and it's a little..." I made some form of jazz hands to signify chaos.

"Goootcha. Now. As for you," she stood back up, hands on her hips, and looked down at Sora, who gave a squeak. "Can you promise you won't tell anyone her little secret? If you do, you'll wish you'd never met her. Got it?"

I stood up, trying to drag Kaida back down to the bench. "Sora doesn't really talk to many people anyway, Kaida. I think we're fine."

Sora nodded. "I'm a pretty good secretkeeper," she affirmed. (Haha geddit?) "Besides, I highly doubt anyone would believe me."
