"It's time to go" Abby stood over me, her pack already on. My eyes aligned with her's, I looked away trying to hide my red flushed cheeks. "Okay" I said standing up stretching, my arm lifted up causing the bottom of my shirt to slightly lift up. My stomach flashing out as I looked over at her, I caught her staring at my lower stomach. My v-line was sharp, I saw her eyes begin to wander but then she realized I was looking at her. "Oh uh sorry let's go, Lev you ready?" Abby avoided me for the rest of the time leaving the abandoned school. She only talked to Lev which upset me because I like her, I would like to be friends and get to know one another a lot better.

"it's about a couples blocks away, we'll be there soon" she said only looking at me for a split second. I opened my mouth about to respond but before I could we heard gun shots, we ducked down behind the nearest car. Abby crouched grabbing onto me pulling me closer to her. I felt her warmth giving me a sense of comfort. Being closer to her, in her arms, I felt like I could finally breath again. I hadn't felt like this in years, her grip on my upper arm made me feel safe. "You okay?" Abby asked putting her two fingers under my chin pushing my face so I was forced to look her in the eyes. Those beautiful blue eyes. I nodded not being able to express how I was feeling. "I think those were just Scars"

"Seraphites Abby!" Lev groaned.

"yeah...Sera-whatever. We're almost there c'mon."

After a few more miles of walking we finally approached the big building, the words "SEATTLE AQUARIUM" was printed on the front in a pretty font. I followed Abby up to the doors, she knocked shouting a man's name. "Owen!! c'mon" she said as she attempted to open the doors, the doors that just so happened to be open. Abby looked concerned, she glanced at Lev exchanging some concerning glances. I was confused, I didn't know who was Owen, Lev, or really even Abby. She motioned us to follow her, holding her gun up as she turned each corner just in case an enemy pops out.

We walked down a hallway, I couldn't see anything until Abby moved out of the way after standing still for a few seconds. I looked down to see a dog, a dog that was beaten. The animals blood was spreading down near our feet, I felt nauseous. "alice.." Abby mustered under her breath as she lifted her gun up higher. We walked towards the two double blue doors which had more blood trailing down near Alice. Abby pushed open the door, she dropped to the floor upon seeing a man dead, bleeding out and a pregnant woman stabbed in the neck. She sobbed loudly saying "owen" over and over again. I didn't know what to do, I stood behind her wondering who were these people and if I should comfort her. I walked over getting down on my knees so I was by her side. I glanced over seeing a map on the ground picking it up I look over it.

"ABBY!"

"Nora"

"Tv Station LEAH?"

I realized somebody was hunting Abby and her friends, my blood began to boil and I knew I needed to help her. I reached over touching her shoulder trying my best to comfort her. She turned her body to me, wrapping her large arms around me. Her loud sobs began to choke out "I can't breathe-" I rubbed the back of her head with one hand while the other was wrapped around her waist. "I know Ab...I know" I said back holding her. Lev stood behind us, tearing up himself. I helped Abby up getting her to where the sleeping bags were. I sat her down on the couch, her tear stained face just stared into space.

"I'm going to get her upstairs and have her get some rest. Meanwhile you and I are going to find these fuckers and figure out where to go. When she's rested we will set out tomorrow."

"Okay...thank you for taking care of her...I know we don't know you but she seems to trust you." I smiled nodding back.

Lev left the room once we made it upstairs, I needed to get her changed out of these blood soaked clothes. He had brought me a bucket up with a cloth, some alcohol, water, and soap. I looked down at Abby, her eyes giving off a blank stare. I felt horrible for her, I lifted up the bottom of her shirt, she followed through raising her arms. I took the ragged shirt off of her, the blood soaked, tear stained shirt I threw aside. I took out a black, muscle tank from her pack placing it aside her on the couch, then I took the warm cloth attempting to wipe the blood off of her. She winced in pain as I used the alcohol on her cuts. "I'm sorry-" "thank you...Lexie" I looked down at her, she had finally said something after hours. I pulled out a bandage wrapping it around the deep wound on her waist. "get some rest Abby, I'll be back after. Drink some water too" She nodded laying down immediately falling asleep.
