CAREFUL

Dae woke up to hear the wind from outside realizing she had left her window open from last nite, thank god her parents didn't notice. She quickly grabbed her phone and charger and put in in her school bag.

She had school today, since it's friday. It's presentation week so she's been dreading going to school even more than usual. She quickly tiptoed to her bathroom careful to not wake her parents.

As she got to the bathroom and grabbed her toothbrush she noticed her cheek, something of a deep blue and purple mixture layed spread across her cheekbone.

she quickly grabbed her make up bag to find her foundation. it's not in great shape nor is it good quality but she learned how to make it work. after putting it on she looked good as new, or as good as she's gonna get.

she brushed her teeth and decided not to brush her hair sense the curls look horrible when they're brushed through.

she quickly hurried back to her room, not making a sound. then she grabbed her airpods and put them in her bag. then she carefully got out her window and climbed down using the tree. she loves climbing trees and luckily there is one directly out her window.

as she walked her way to school she passed many people on bikes, or more like they passed her. she always wanted a bike but never had the money to spend on one.

as she arrived, late as always, she heard the bell ring. once she finally got to her locker she put her bag in and grabbed out her phone and airpods and put those in her pocket. then she grabbed her cart out of her bag and put it into her bra, making sure no one saw.

she half closed her locker as always cause she can't bother putting in the code. takes too long.

as she was on her way to class she stopped in the staff bathroom and closed the door to take a couple hits before going to her boring ass "study hall" classroom. even though no one did anything productive in there.

as she walked in the doorway, speed walking behind her teacher who was writing on the bored, she saw her friend, Elita. she was waiting for her with her open seat as always. they sat buy each other every day, or every day she was there at least.

"Hey dae" elita whispered not loud enough for the teacher to hear.

"hey elita" she said putting on a half smile while sliding into her seat quickly and quietly trying not to make it obvious she just got there.

her teacher was kinda out of it every day so it was no surprise when she didn't notice anything.

"how's your morning going shawty" she said to elita. everyone was talking now cause the teacher left the room, not planning on coming back for a while knowing there alone.

"i'm tired" elita slurred back while putting her head down on her desk.

dae didn't know what to say, she never does. should she ask if she's okay or is that dumb. maybe she'll just agree something.

"Me too dawg" she said to elita while opening her computer, dead as always.

"i so don't wanna present today" elita said get back up and turning to dae.

"me neither man idk how i'm gonna do it. mine actually sucks ass." she said while leanin back in her seat.

as the second bell rang they both got up and left the classroom. it's technically a passing period for people who go to the special help classes so anyone can leave, and they made it a habit to go take a little walk to each others lockers.

she went with elita to her locker as elita grabbed something to eat during that boring ass class. on the way back she told elita to go back and she'll meet her there. she just needed to grab her computer charger from her locker.

"ok. hurry up tho" elita said turning and heading back down the hallway.

"i will i will jeez man" she said while quickly half jogging to her locker.
