as i made it to my, already open locker, i unzipped my front pocket to grab my little bag of white powder. I quickly put it in my pants pocket, one of the 6. two of the pockets have velcro so dae trusted them pretty much with her life.

she quickly half shut her locker door and started speed walking towards the classroom, where elita sat waiting for her to come back.

as she walked in the classroom, all eyes lay onto her, as it happens to anyone walking into a classroom full of students, but it still always seemed to bother her. well, at least always when she's sober.

everyone looked away as soon as they noticed it was no one to interesting, at least that's what she thought.

"guess who's back" dae said to elita, while sliding into her chair and getting comfortable. she won't be sitting there for long but she might as well be comfy while waiting.

"what took you so long i said hurry up loser" elita pouted to dae. (don't worry guys it's just a joke she ain't no pick me chick)

"r u serious. it was like 2 seconds. r u so curiously deliriously serious shorty" das said to elita while side eyeing the shit outta her.

"i was all alone and almost died, i could've actually died" elita said, still making that stupid pouting face.

"sorry, ur mom doesn't like it when i finish fast" dae said while turning to elita and shrugging her shoulders.

"ew that's disgusting wtf ur gross" elita said while smiling and laughing under her breath.

"i have to fucking pee. i'm going and u can't stop me" dae said

"nonono but i'll be all alone you never come back. ur always wondering around the hallways."

"whaaaat. what r u talking about i'll be right back" she said as she got up and left the room.

she didn't go back.

Time skip to dismissal. she kept her little "funny friend with no problems ever" act up for the rest of the day with her friend group.

she smiled a very wide and believable smile, saying bye to all her friends. as she waved them all gone and turned around she finally was able to rest her face.

it's not that she wasn't grateful or anything. it's more that she hasn't felt truly happy in years, her home life sucks, and she knows all her friends find her annoying. not in a pick me way or anything just she thinks of herself as genuinely annoying, she couldn't even stand herself so why should anyone else be able to?

right as she was about to start her walk home she felt a hand on her sweater pull her back, thinking it was harry (a well known bully in her friend group) she snatched her sweater turning around fast to see who it was.

"it's only me, chill out" Rue said.

dae and rue have been best friends sense they met last year, dae thought it was a miracle from heaven, like god saw her and decided that she was gonna have the best new person in her life ever, in the whole world. anyways last year dae was kinda emo and shit like that, she wore black everyday and didn't talk to much people outside there friend group, and didn't say much when she was talking. last year was a rough ass year for her, not any worse then others or this year but she just was not emotionally doing great, but for some reason, Rue decided to stick with her. no matter what friend groups split apart. she would still talk to dae, and dae loved her for that.

skip ahead to this year dae has gone through 3 friend groups but Rue still talks to her, and now she's currently in Rues friend group, sense she's already kinda friends with everybody there already. Rue always jokes with her and there friends on how rues in love with dae and stuff, and ofc dae does it back to her, but no one knows how down bad she really is for rue. no one knows that dae actually likes rue and that she likes girls, and if they knew either she knows they'd hate her. they'd never talk to her again if they knew, good thing they don't. and she plans on keeping it that way. but it's getting worse and harder every day to keep thing going, everyone is always like "i don't think daes joking anymore" and stuff like that but dae always denies it, and they were only joking so no one suspects that she actually likes her. also dae knows that rue doesn't like her like that so she sees no point in trying.

anyways back to her grabbing daes sweater.

"it's only me, chill out" Rue said.

"oh, yeah, sorry i'm tweakin haha." dae slightly laughed to Rue.

"haha anyways i was gonna ask if you wanted to hang out.

"yeah sure i got no plans, um whos coming?" dae asked, not sure if she should have said yes cause her dads already gonna be mad at her when she gets home so he'll be extra mad. and that never goes well.

"um, i didn't ask anyone else since we've never really hung out, like not in our huge friend group. but i can ask someone else if you want?"

" okay come on then let's go" Rue said grabbing daes rist and turning around, walking towards the town.
