Cha Ri's
"Cha Ri-ssi.. Cha Ri-ssi.." someone was calling me. It was Min Joo-ssi, my co-teacher. One month ago, right after my graduation in US, I decided to return here in Korea to see Yoon Jin oppa, I mean to work. Yeah, to work. Whatever. You know what happened to me when I went to see oppa almost 3 weeks ago.
I immediately locked my cellphone and looked at Min Joo-ssi. It seemed that she was calling me for a while now. I was just so distracted on what I saw on my phone. My bestfriend sent me a link and asked me to open it immediately. I regretted that I did what she asked.
"Yes, Min Joo-ssi?" I asked her. She was a young teacher like me. She's maybe older by me by just 3 years. But since we're still not into informal speaking, I couldn't call her "unnie" just yet. But at a times like this, I wished she could be just an ordinary friend, an unnie. I just couldn't contact my best friend, Jessie, who was living in California. Sixteen hour time difference is not a joke.
"Are you okay, Cha Ri-ssi? I just noticed that you were looking at your phone for quite some time without moving. I actually doubted if you're still breathing." She said smiling. In just 2 weeks that I knew her, I could say that she's a good person. But can she keep a secret? That, I can't be sure unless I try.
"Ah yes. I'm fine. I was just thinking about something. Actually, I need to go now." I answered. I decided against talking to her about my problem slash secret.
"Okay Cha Ri-ssi. Take care."
"You too Min Joo-ssi. I'll go then." I said clutching the paper bag on my hand. The paper bag contained the T-shirt that idol gave me. Yeah. I already figured who he was. Well, Jessie did. I talked to Jessie what happened to me when I visited Yoon Jin oppa. Being a Kpop fanatic and all that, she was able to figure out who he was. Apparently, there were just few tall idols that have tattoo on his arm, have an elf-like ear and have a big booming voice. Jessie almost cursed at me actually. She was so jealous and envious that I hugged and smell Chanyeol or Channie, as Yoon Jin oppa called him. But seriously, there was nothing to be jealous about. I was totally ashamed of what happened. And at the same time, thankful. At least I had a reason to go back on his studio. I need to return that guy's T-shirt after all. If this time, oppa still wouldn't figure out who I really am, then I don't have any choice but to tell him the truth.
That was my plan before I watched the video that was apparently went viral.
The video shows an idol taking off his clothes and giving it to his fan.
Yeah, that scene was captured by one of his fans that were waiting for him outside Yoon Jin oppa's studio.
And since my best friend knew what happened, she was able to put two and two together and figured out that I was the "fan" in the video. It was a good thing though that the video only showed the side view of my face and that I was looking down. There was this small chance that other people would recognize me in the video. Well, that's what I hoped.
I decided to just take the bus instead of riding a taxi to buy me some time to think. What will I do if someone recognizes me? What if because of that video there are a lot of fan girls waiting for that guy even though it was already 7 pm? And what if the receptionist won't allow me to enter the studio this time? I was lucky last time because he was kind of busy talking on the phone that's why he let me through immediately. Wait, what if I just enter through the building's back door? Does oppa still keep the key under the blue pot? I hope not. Cause that was the lamest hiding place ever. Even as I kid, I knew that.
"That lucky b#*ch!" someone shouted inside the bus. When I looked at her, I saw two high school students watching at the bus' television. It was a talk show and they were showing the video, my video with that guy.
