Chapter 1
"NEXT STOP CANADA YOOO!!!" Dev yelled loudly waking everybody from their beauty sleep on the private jet. "Ugh" everybody groaned as I took off my headset, hopped out of my seat and went to pop Dev upside his head "OW!" He shrieked and bounced back on his feet professionally slightly stumbling as he regained his balance
"why'd you do that for" he questioned
"I think you can answer that yourself" I answerd tiredly walking over to Carmen shaking her lightly "mmm" she mumbled "wake up, were here" I answerd walking away from her going to look out the and saw a very rich neighborhood. I walked up to the front of the private jet and spotted Pete our pilot and walked up to him "So were staying there" I said pointing to the neighborhood below us "Yup" he said popping the 'P'. "Great I hate rich people, such arrogant people. I hope the kids aren't like that" I said annoyed
"Not all kids are like their parents... HOLD ON EVERYBODY!!!" Pete yelled gripping the steering wheel frantically as I was flung into him, my hand accidentally hitting the big red button opening the back door causing a gush of wind to pull us towards the door. I screamed as my back hit one of the chairs but I took this to my advantage, as I dived under the chair avoiding the current of wind.
"MIST!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOUR GONNA GET URSELF KILLED!!!!" Nina yelled grasping on to the mercy bar for dear life.
"JUST GO!!! I AM FINE!!!!" I screamed still crawling towards the pilot section, I pulled out my pistol, breathing in and out slowly, then I shot the big Green button that closes the door shut. SLAM! And we all fell towards the ground with a loud thump. Pete quickly dashed up to control the plane
"Already done" I said stepping in front of him forcing him to stop his mad dash
"What do you mean"
"It's on auto-pilot and were still headed to our new home" I replied
"Are your CRAZY!" Carter yelled storming over towards me after he regained his composure, pushing Pete out of the way in the process
"You could say that" I said cockily smirking
"You make me sick"
"So what"
"Whatever" he spat back
"STOP IT! Carter, we should be thanking Misty she saved our life" Nina said sticking up for me, I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her and said "finally someone understands my pain and struggle" I said gasping dramatically and falling on Nina.
"get off of me" Nina said pushing me onto the ground, but I sprang up almost immediately smirking. Pushing my hair back out of my face, and deciding that it was time for a shower, I side stepped to the washroom with my imaginary prince only to stop with sudden realization that there was not shower in the private jet. "Ugh" I groaned smelling my underarms so I slumped back to the kitchen and settling on a granola bar and a glass of water, but the crazy part of me who I call 'Lynx' looked towards the tap dripping of water I smirked, dropped the granola bar and skipped to the tap pulled it out and hoverd it over my head and... NOTHING!!! "What the..." I mumbled pressing on it harder, harder, harder squeezing it until my knuckles became white until... SWOOSH!!! Water came out life a waterfall "aah" I breathed out and realized the kitchen floor was getting flooded so I sighed and let go, um... I let go..and the water is still RUNNING!!! So I quickly pulled out my switch blade and cut open a small hole in the window creating a current to suck in the some forks out the gap in the glass so being me I let quickly stuck the running hose in it and thankfully it remained in the hole so I got out our water sucker upper (sorry guys can't think of another name but it just sucks up the water) and sucked up all the water "damn that was close" I said still soaked and out of breath
"What was close?"
I jumped around and striked into a fighting pose only to relax seeing as it is only Frank our boss,master, guidancer or whatever you want to call him, was right in front of me with his hands on his hips giving me a stern look. "Nothin',nuthin'" I said shivering from being wet, "what do you mean nuthin', your soaking wet! Why are you soaked?" He exclaimed throwing his arms out looking at me with wide eyes
"Yeaaa... About tha-"
"What is that sound" he said stepping to the side trying to listen better UGH! I tots forgot about the water, aint no reason to beat around the bush so I said everything that happened scince I felt I needed to shower to the hose sticking out of the window pouring water onto the street all in one breath. Thinking he couldn't understand me because I was talking so fast but being very skilled listening, he heard everything and just stood there with a blank expression staring at me while I catch my breath. "Well" I said after I caught my breath
"You aren't gonna say anything"
He just pushed me out of the way and flicked something on the tap and the water stopped pouring "oh" I said with a defeated sigh
"Well I guess that settles it, I'm gonna hit the sack" yawning I pushed past him towards to where everybody else is. Sighing I plopped on the couch letting my head fall back onto the headboard, as I thought about how hard protecting these kids would be. The mission seemed pretty big considering how serious Frank was when he explained to us about who we would be protecting, from what I heard they were pretty special kids and they were in the 7th grade! Can you believe it Frank sent us to protect a bunch of kids but I'm sure there are two of them, eh whatever I figure out tomorrow. And those were my last thoughts as I let sleep engulf me into deep slumber.
