Dᴇsᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ:
All her life, {OC} had been taught by her father about the missing champion. In a hundred years after he first disappeared he would save the kingdom. All these years her father searched for the hero, up until the day he died.
{OC} took it upon herself to finish her father's search. With just a map, her pack, and the horse her father gave her, she set out to search all of Hyrule until she found the fabled champion.
Link wakes up not knowing anything about the world he finds himself in. He could hear the voice of a woman talking to him, thinking himself insane. The voice tells him of a prophecy. A prophecy of a girl who would protect him on his journey, a daughter of the goddess Hylia herself. Though she would not know it.
{OC} expected to find him, but he found her. Link expected to protect her, but she protected him.
