From another reality

Chapter ten

Author's note: any anime shows or photos here don't belong to me. Nor does the Wednesday show/ characters. Also this chapter will be short again, sorry about this but I haven't been feeling  well this whole week.

(Warning: blood and cussing in here)

   "This story is about to take a dark turn" ,Wednesday narrates. The night was cold, and the woods were crowded with police and their dogs looking for a dead body.

   "Usually, I love dark turns. Like when the carousel brakes mysteriously failed at my eighth birthday party. But not this one."

   "We've been searching for hours, Sheriff" , one of officers states, "The dogs need a break...Think we missed something?"

  "I say we double back, sweep Collet Creek, and then call it a night" , the sheriff answers.
 
  "Okay" ,she replies.

-Skip Time to next morning—

  "How could you miss a dead body?" ,Wednesday asks the sheriff. Alba and Wednesday were in Ms.Weem's office, talking to the sheriff about the event with Rowan.

  "Cause it wasn't there. No footprints, no blood, no sign of a struggle. Nothing, nada" ,the Sheriff voices. "My search party looked all night."

   "Well, your search party must have left their seeing-eye dogs at home. We saw that monster kill Rowan right in front of us" ,Wednesday mentions to sheriff.

  "Get a good look at this monster thing?" ,he asks the two Nevermore students in front of him.
   "It didn't stick around for a chat" ,Alba remark.
   "Maybe it was one of your classmates."
   "Sheriff, I find that question offensive" ,Principal Weems claims.

   "I don't care, 'cause I got three other dead bodies in the morgue. Hikers just ripped apart in the woods" ,the sheriff declare.

   "The mayor said those were bear attacks" ,Principal Weems make it known to the group.

   "Well, the mayor and I disagree on that" ,the sheriff adds. Alba really didn't lie this man, first he automatically accuses a student from the Nevermore as the murderer. Also claims that her father, killed someone when he was a Nevermore student. Being honest to herself, Alba knows that her father had killed people before just because they were getting too close to her mother or they tried to make a move on his wife. Alba move towards the sheriff and allege, "So you automatically assume a Nevermore student is the murderer, even though there's no evidence a crime was even committed."

   "I'm sorry. I forgot, you guys only teach the good outcasts here, right?" ,he scoffs.

   Weems sighs, "my guess is Rowan ran away."

   "State troopers have put out an alert, and I've contacted his family, but they haven't heard from him either" , the sheriff tells the tall woman.

"Dead people are notoriously bad at returning calls."

   "What were you doing out in the woods with him, Ms. Addams?" ,Weems asks the smaller girl.

   "I heard a noise in the forest and went to go investigate. And Alba came along with me, that's when we stumbled upon the attack" ,Wednesday calmly speak.

   "Then what happened?"

   "Then we ran into Bianca Barclay, and I told her to go for help. Next thing I remember, I was awaking in my dorm and seeing Alba in her own bed" ,Wednesday responds.

    "And just to be clear, this monster wasn't a bear or some other wild animal?" ,the sheriff speaks.

    "I've hibernated with grizzlies" ,Wednesday express.
