Y/N sat with Enid at lunch as she spoke about the upcoming Poe cup and what she had plan and how she was going to win. Y/N was in no shape or form interested in the Poe cup but he kept that to himself as he smile at the enthusiasm that shone in the young werewolf's eyes as she spoke while the hybrid nodded here and there to show that he was listening. Just then Enid stopped talking as a new figure joined the table, a new cold figure.
"Wednesday, you are just in time. I was telling Y/N about my plans for the Poe Cup." Enid smiled at here new friend who seemed more focused on Y/N instead.
"As torturous as that might be to listen to, I need Y/N's help right now." Wednesday spoke as Y/N finally looked at her. "I need help finding a certain book." She added as she handed him a piece of paper.
"My apologies, my dear Enid." Y/N spoke as he stood up and adjusted his tie. "Allow me to assist Miss Addams and later on we can continue this conversation, over a cup of coffee?"
"Sure." Enid said as the usual smile seemed to disappear. "I'll see you later Y/N."
Y/N gave her a small smile before turning and walking off with Wednesday, who seemed to be on a mission as she stormed through the halls.
Soon they were in the library as the two of them were scanning through book after book, searching for a specific one.
"Woah, I don't normally find students back here looking for actual books." The voice of Miss Thornhill spoke as the two students looked up at the teacher. "Most of them just sneak in here to make out."
"Unfortunately, I have no doubt in that statement." Y/N chuckled as he placed another book back into the case.
"I once walked in on two vampires fanging." Wednesday responded, receiving a chuckle from Y/N as he rubbed his temple trying to ignore that image. "I can't un-see that."
"Is there anything I can help the two of you find?" Thornhill asked as she approached the two.
"Have you seen this before?" Wednesday spoke with a slight hesitation, "it's a watermark from the book we're looking for."
"It's a symbol to an old student society." Thornhill explained as she studied the markings. "The... The-"
"The Nightshade?" Y/N asked as he two ladies before placing another book away.
"Like the deadly flower? Colour me intrigued."
"Yes, that's them." Thornhill smiled at the hybrid before turning her attention back to Wednesday. "I was told that they disbanded many years ago."
"Any idea why?" Wednesday asked as she folded the paper and placed it back into her pocket.
"No sorry." Thornhill apologised as Wednesday walked back to her bag. "I was very impressed with your answers in class." She complimented Wednesday.
"My mother's a carnivorous plant aficionado." Wednesday spoke as she picked up her back. "I'm assuming a get my red-thumb from her." She swung her back over her shoulder and turned to the teacher.
"Are you and your mother close?"
"Like two inmates sentenced to life in the same cell block." Wednesday spoke as she glanced at the teacher in boredom.
"I know it can't be easy transferring mid semester." Thornhill spoke as she walked around Wednesday and sat down. "I've been here a year and a half, and I still feel like an outsider." She added.
"Is that because you are the only Normie on the staff?" Wednesday asked as she stared at the teacher, her monotone voice making it hard to tell if it was a genuine question or full of sarcasm but it still confused the teacher who glanced between her and Y/N. "Enid told me."
