Y/n stood amongst the crowd as everyone got ready for the annual Poe Cup, just the Wednesday popped up from nowhere as Enid walked up to her. "We're all set." her cheerful voice spoke up as Y/n joined them with his hands in his pockets and a bored expression plastered on his face.

"Good, Thing's in position."

"Wanna tell me what you two have been up to?" Enid asked with a mixture of excitement and fear as the possibilities run through both hers and Y/n's heads.

"And ruin the surprise?!"

"Speaking of surprises!" Enid easily forgot about the possible chaos that might ensue as she returned to her excited self. "Your costumes in the tent!" Enid spoke in utter excitement while Y/n couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the split second where he was sure a look of horror donned on Wednesday's face before returning to it's normal stoic expression.

Moments later Wednesday walked out of the tent wearing a tight one-piece with a set of cat ears on her head. "OMG, you look PURR-fect!" Enid smiled as she completely ignored the look of pure dread on the Addams face as she look around hoping no one was looking at her dressed in this outfit. "Just one thing? Where are your whiskers?"

"Asked that again and you will be down to eight lives!" Wednesday spoke as she glanced at the blond werewolf. Just then Y/n approached them seemingly intrigued by the raven-haired lady. "What is it?"

"My, my, Miss Addams," Y/n said with a grin. "You look ravishing."

Wednesday glared at him. "Don't start with me, Y/n," she growled. "I don't want to be here, and I certainly don't want to wear this ridiculous outfit."

Y/n chuckled. "Oh, come now, Miss Addams. I think you look quite fetching in it."

Wednesday scoffed. "Fetching? That's not the word I would use."

Y/n leaned in a little closer, his voice low and playful. "Well then, what word would you use, my dear?"

Wednesday narrowed her eyes, a warning in her gaze. "Don't push it, Y/n," she warned. "I may be wearing this outfit, but I'm still not in the mood for your games."

Y/n leaned in closer and spoke with a whisper, "You may say that Miss Addams, but your increased heart rate betrays your true feelings." Wednesday's cheeks seemed to become flushed for a mere second, and she turned away from Y/n, trying to hide her reaction.

Y/n raised an eyebrow, noticing her sudden change in demeanour. "Is something wrong, Miss Wednesday?" he mockingly asked with a concerned tone.

Wednesday cleared her throat, trying to regain her composure. "No, nothing's wrong. I just find your constant flattery to be tiresome," she replied coldly.

Y/n chuckled, knowing that Wednesday was just trying to hide her true feelings. However, as he was about to reply, Wednesday suddenly choked up, causing her to walk away quickly.

Y/n watched her go, feeling a little satisfied that he was able to get a raise out of the cold figure. But nevertheless, everyone was by the boats and getting ready for the race to start and start it did with everyone racing to paddle across the lake as Y/n stood amongst the crowd once again and watched them go.

It wasn't long before something extremely feint caught the Hybrid's eye as he saw in the distance a splash in the water and a small smirk crept onto his face as he disappeared into the crowd and the forest behind them.

After a few seconds, the teams found themself at the other side of the lake, all except one who seemed to have an accident halfway. Wednesday and Enid jumped out of the boat and before they could take off, Wednesday stopped and turned to Enid. "Stay here and make sure that Bianca's team doesn't sabotage our boat, I don't know why Kent didn't try so we need to be careful." Enid nodded as she turned back towards their fierce-looking boat while Wednesday ran deeper into the woods.
