"I knew I should have worn my plague mask." Y/n overheard Wednesday say as she looked over at her family walk-in.
"Would you look at my family," Enid mumbled as Wednesday, Enid's brothers were jumping around and tackling each other like a bunch of dogs. "Talk about toxic pack mentality. I give my mom 30 seconds before her judgy claws come out." Enid groaned as she looked over her shoulder at the Hybrid who was leaning against the pillar seemingly lost in his out head. "What about you Y/n, any plans?"
"Of course not."
"Well, maybe Wednesday can introduce you to her family." Enid smiled at the smaller girl next to her.
"I would rather poke my eyes out with a red-hot steel rod." Wednesday glared at the werewolf next to her as she glanced at the rest of the Addams family who was marvelling at the grounds.
"Nonsense, if you were to do that then how would I get to stare into the wonderful abyss?" Y/n finally finding the willpower to join in on the conversation.
"Well, then how about I shove them..."
"How about we just get this day over with?" Enid interrupted as she smiled at her two friends before walking over to her family.
"Might I venture to ask, Miss Addams, if I am to become your delightful companion throughout the remaining hours of this day?" He smiled at Wednesday as he watched her steel gaze attempt to rip through him. "If only looks could kill."
"You are asking to be gutted aren't you?" Wednesday growled at the taller student who just playfully laughed. "I will..."
"My little death trap." The voice of Gomez broke Wednesday's sentence as she turned to face her family, feeling Y/n's gaze linger on her for a few seconds before doing the same.
"Mon amour, penses-tu que notre envoûtante belladone a capturé un prétendant?" (my love, do you suppose our charming nightshade has ensnared a suitor?) Morticia spoke as she glance at Y/n before turning to Gomez.
Y/n saw Wednesday about to say something until his deep voice cut her off, "Je présente mes excuses pour toute confusion, mais permettez-moi de préciser que votre fille et moi ne sommes que des connaissances." (I apologize for any confusion, but let me clarify that your daughter and I are merely acquaintances).
"You speak French?" Wednesday stared at the Hybrid from the corner of her eye.
"Indeed. However, I apologize for taking up a moment of your time." Y/n spoke as he gave the Addams family a slight bow. "I best get going." And with that Wednesday watched as the Hybrid walked through the halls until he was completely out of sight.
Pretty soon Y/n found himself sitting inside the Weathervane, deep in thought with his coffee in hand. He let out a low growl as his blissful silence was interrupted by a figure sitting down across from him. "Y/n, how are you?" The voice of the young Galpin reached Y/n's ears.
"I was relishing in a moment of tranquillity," Y/n responded, his gaze meeting the baristas. It was evident that the Hybrid was not seeking any form of companionship at that particular moment, yet he also recognized Tyler's unwavering determination to pose a question. "Pray tell, what is the matter that you wish to inquire about?"
"It's about Wednesday..."
Y/n's expression tightened, a flicker of irritation crossing his features. He couldn't comprehend why Tyler would approach him with matters concerning Wednesday's affairs. Annoyed by the intrusion, he swiftly interjected, "Please spare me the details of your emotional entanglements involving the enigmatic Wednesday." His voice carried a touch of anger and sarcasm.
