Me and my platoon, and about fifty other platoons are here. We are waiting for the enemies to arrive. My friend Chris is in the airforce. They will also back us up on this defence. Currently we're on the beach of Miami. The only way for them to get here to America from Russia or China, is from the water. Last time this happened, it did not end well, I'm talking about June 6th 1944, D Day. Well it's bad for the Russians and the Chinese. Since we have the mg42's and they, uh we have no idea what they are hitting us with. It's been 5 hours since we have been waiting, and still nothing, no invasion. I still remember home, my grand father was in world war 2. He died during the invasion of D Day, he was on of the first to step on that beach, and one of the first to get their blood dropped on that sand, and one of the first to get shot by a German mg42. I was also told about a German who died in 2001, during 911. His name was Heinrich Fischer, he lived during world war 2, and was in coma for 26 years. That man was a legend. But to me my grandfather was way more. Almost fell asleep, but now I heard a boom in the distance. It might be enemy artillery, firing at us from a battle ship. After a while there was an explosion on the beach. That was our signal, the enemy is here. Our artillery began firing, and the small boats in the water were rushing at us, through the explosions. My heart was thumping, as the boats got closer and closer. We had mines later out on the beach, so that we can hold them off longer. The boats hit the coast and the front door dropped. I saw the enemy soldiers running out of the boat. They were far but I tried to aim on their heads, and began firing. I can't even tell if I hit them, the recoil of the mg42 is driving me nuts. Our artillery is doing good work from what I can tell, their bodies are getting thrown around. It looks like a bunch of ants getting closer to us, even though we have an advantage, and we are taking a lot of them out, but they keep getting closer. The mines did their work but now even the mines are out, the enemy is advancing quicker now and is close. Now it's time to signal the airforce. I took out my flair gun and shot the flair in the sky.
