"Move slow, and make sure you don't get seen" I ordered. We were slowly moving through the woods and we were at the border now. We can't even think of accidentally getting spotted, since the French defence will destroy us if we do. Everyone is moving an inch per second at this point. "ennemi entrant" We heard a voice from the bunkers, I think we have been spotted. They began firing at us, it felt like 10 thousand people died in the first five seconds. "Signal the bombers" said one of the soldiers. It is my job to signal the bombers, but we were too far from the bunkers to physically throw a signal flair at the bunkers. I had to get closer, but it was far too risky. "Toss a smoke, and cover me" I told the guy beside me. I got up and ran, it was almost like everything was aiming at me, until the smoke came in. Now I was close enough, I threw the signal at the main bunker of the French Defence, I ran back, but in the process I got shot in my right leg. My leg began burning, my ears began buzzing, and my vision began blurring. In a moment the buzzing turned into ringing, these symptoms often mean I am about to die, but before I got shot again, my partner came and rescued me.
