When they got in the house her mother was cooking dinner her father was watching TV and her little sister was headed out the door.
“Everybody we need to tell yall something.”
Her mother came out the kitchen and immediately looked at her face.
“Tammy what’s wrong why are crying.”
“Because…Radarius and I…are having…a baby.”
Her mother passed out and her father stared blankly in space.
Radarius fanned her mother and helped her to the couch.
“Look mom and dad I know you’re mad right and don’t want to see me so I guess I’ll just leave.”
They didn’t say anything.
“This baby is our responsibility so were going to take care of him/or her on our own.”
Her father looked at her and got up to hug her.
“listen baby girl you know you don’t have to leave, yes we’re shocked and a little disappointed but you are our daughter and that’s our grandbaby so we’re helping with him/or her.”
Her father said as he looked at his wife.
Her mother didn’t say anything the entire time.
“Mom, can you say something.”
She looked at Tammy, got up and left out the room then went to her bedroom.
“Tammy don’t worry about your mother she’ll come around after a while.
Tammy had got a text message from Rontario and it said “hey I was on mii way 2 c a movie nd was wondern if you wnted to come?”
she texted back “sure need 2 get out 4 awhile.”
“Ok ill b dher in 15 mins.”
Radarius ill call you later ok.”
“Ok” he gave her a kiss on the cheek then left.
She went to the bathroom to clean herself up before Rontario came.
She reapplied her makeup, put on her jewelry and went outside.
Rontario was right on time, and they went to see fright night.
After the movie he took her to a new pizza place called pizza palace.
“What’s wrong Tammy you seem a little down.”
“Oh it’s nothing just stuff going on at home, that’s all.”
“Do you want to talk about it.”
“Not really, well not right now.”
“Ok just asking, you know I’ll do anything for you.”
“Imma hold you to that.” She said smiling at him.
After they left the pizza palace he took her on Beale Street and they rode in the horse and carriage ride.
They saw a few people singing and performing.
They saw a few people they knew from school.
While they were walking Tammy saw Radarius with Janice and he was kissing all up on her and hugged up with her.
He saw her and he had that oh shit I’m in trouble look on his face, but that expression changed when he saw Rontario kiss her on her lips.
He instantly looked mad and texted her.
