Sprinting through the labyrinthine depths of the colony, Wesson and Z speed down corridors and offshoots, pursuing where they believe Lizzy has been stolen away. They arrive at the strip-curtain entrance to the cryosleep chambers, the surrounding monitors littered with several error messages. The two pass through the curtain, seeing a blatant, shoddy hologram of what seems to be Lizzy... though they appear to be hardly standing, flashing back upright whenever they nearly collapse.

Wesson - "L-Lizzy...?" he asks quietly, concerned by this odd apparition before him. Z nonchalantly crosses her arms and taps her foot - or, more accurately, peg - expectantly. Suddenly, the hologram jolts, springing to life and standing completely normal.

'Lizzy' - "Hello, yes! It's me, Elise!" Nearly every part of their sentence sounds butchered. "Uh... tell me something!" It appears to prepare another sentence, though it does not speak one.

Wesson looks wholly confused, his eyes turning solid as his fears dissipate - glancing at Z to see her still patiently waiting.

'Lizzy' - "What was that? Optometry?" it panickedly sputters. "I'm waiting... for the doctor, yes! Come here and... see... better...?" It seems confused by its own words, hilariously.

Wesson, feeling merciful, points his railgun at the hologram - which he can do confidently, not threatening a real drone. Z, however, gently tips the railgun back towards the floor. She has another plan, quickly debriefing Wesson.

'Lizzy' - "W-What are you... hey, tru-ust me! I'm-..." Its form begins glitching, its voice following suit. "I-Is... that a-a fre-ea-aki-ing n-nin-ja s-sta-ar-r?"

As the hologram had assessed, Z passed two ninja stars to Wesson. To the best of his ability, he throws the shurikens as Z gets on the ground in preparation. She launches forward in a spinning motion, kicking the two stars with a pose, simultaneously accelerating and redirecting their paths. They spiral through the air, cutting through the hologram and into the rafters. The sound of something oddly fleshy being cut resonates through the room as oil drips from above, a small mechanical pincer falling - accompanied by Lizzy... the actual Lizzy. She struggles to stand as the hologram dissipates, the poor facade proving useless. The camera responsible for said hologram reveals itself, observing the scene.

Lizzy - "Oh, thank robo-God, I'm alive!" She looks up, realizing who her saviors are. "G-Guess I was a part of all this after all... totally invited to my next sleepover, both of you!" She looks up at the camera. "No weirdos allowed!"

Lizzy turns to flee as another pincer descends to grab her... however, as she threatens to backhand it, the pincer flinches and recedes. She continues on her path, and the camera glares at her as she leaves. Wesson and Z look at one another, audibly stoked about the invitation... but their excitement is curbed by metallic clamoring.

??? - "I wonder why nobody invites me." a primitively robotic voice starts, a small horde of cameras dropping from the ceiling for expressive purposes. They seem almost disappointed momentarily before turning unamused. "Oh, whatever. It would have been boring anyway."

Z - "Nice voice, V." she sarcastically remarks.
