Several hours have passed since the incident in the cryo-sleep chamber, Nori and Wesson having returned home - the latter now resting in his room. Nori, however, chooses to spend some time working in the kitchen before going to sleep... but, as she's cooking, she hears a knock at the door. Nobody knocks on their door... much less this late. In a panic, Nori shuts down every appliance in the kitchen, hiding pots and pans in cupboards... though they make quite a mess in the process, having not taken the time to empty them. Once she deems the area passably inconspicuous after some short cleaning, Nori heads to the door - cracking it open to see who's outside.
Nori - "Oh, Doll! It's a pleasure to see you again." she warmly greets, opening the door the rest of the way, illuminating the vast corridor outside.
Doll - "Hello, Mrs. Doorman. Apologies for my candidness... but I was curious about how Wesson is faring. May I come in?"
Nori - "Oh, no need to be so formal. You can come in if you'd like!" She steps aside, allowing Doll passage. "I wouldn't recommend disturbing him, though... he's resting right now."
Doll - "Ah, I see. I suppose I ought to ask you of his condition, then."
Nori - "...Unstable, to say the least." She closes the door, sitting down on a nearby chair. "I'm sure it would've been far worse if you didn't tell me where he went."
Doll recalls that conversation with Nori... shortly after Wesson and Z had run off in pursuit of Lizzy's screams. She had remained behind to continue examining the murals and room... but, unfortunately, came up short on most conclusions and theories. Though Doll fails to fathom why they were there, she recalls a voice breaking the silence during her investigation. It was... Nori, of course.
Nori - "Doll?! What're you doing here?!"
Doll - "Oh, greetings! I was attempting to decipher the meanings of these messages." She indicates the wall, Nori stepping forward to have a closer look. "Wesson and Z were here a good few minutes ago, off to go and save Lizzy from some grand beast, presumably."
Nori - "Some-... what? Hold on... say that again?"
Doll did her best to outline the three's encounter with the monster, though her mind has been... occupied with other subjects. By the end of the explanation, she'd given Nori vague directions that could lead to where the other two had gone. Oh, how prone to worry she was... but she surmises it was for the best in hindsight... this time.
Nori - "...Doll? Hello?"
It's then Doll realizes that she had spaced out in the middle of the conversation she'd been holding in the present. She returns to reality, slightly confused and additionally somewhat embarrassed.
Doll - "A-Ah, my sincerest apologies... I was... thinking."
Nori - "It's alright; I doubt I've done much better!" She laughs a little to herself, getting a chuckle out of Doll.
