I love this picture so much! Lol anyways enjoy this chapter! 💓 ——————— Ron: We had been walking for a while now and it was day time, Sam was fast asleep on my back resting peacefully. We haven't encountered any walkers which surprised me, I knew we were close which I was glad about. "I can't believe we might actually me able to have a save place to stay" Jessie said my mother, it was hard to believe that we might actually be able to find a place to stay, I saw the gates and so did Jessie and Pete my parents, I woke Sam up, "Sam pssst wake up we're here" I said to Sam, he woke up rubbing his eyes and smiled hugging me tightly. "Thank you big brother!" Sam said while hugging me, "No problem little bro" I said smiling at him. He got down and we talked while getting closer and closer too the gates.
Once we were right at the gates we saw 2 people above guarding the gates, "What do you need?" A woman spoke, she had a blade on her back, she was holding a gun and had long braided hair. "We mean no harm, we promise we are just trying to find a safe place to call home" Jessie said speaking to the woman above, the woman thought for a moment and nodded "Open the gates!" She said to the people below, we all smiled and the gates started to open, I could see so many people standing on their porches too see who might be coming in. We walked in, Sam holding my hand, scared I knew he was, I looked down at him and smiled, "It's okay don't be afraid big brother is here!" I said happily, Sam looked up at me and smiled. When the gates closed the woman came down, "Welcome to Alexandria, before we do anything we will need your weapons, it's a safety hazard", The woman spoke we hesitated for a moment all 4 of us looking at each other. Eventually we gave in and handed our weapons, she smiled and thanked us.
"I'm Michonne" Michonne said holding out her hand to shake ours, Jessie shook her hand, then Pete, when Michonne got too Sam he buried his head in my arm, Michonne smiled and shook my hand I smiled back. "It's okay little bud, I won't hurt you" Michonne said giving a warm smile, Sam looked up at me and I nodded, Sam shook Michonne's hand and smiled, "I'll show you guys your houses, we have running water, food, beds, and anything else you might need" Michonne said smiling. "They have running water?! And food plus beds!" I thought to myself, I picked Sam up and we followed Michonne.
She showed us our house and it was beautiful, a yellow door with beautiful windows, and it had a nice gray coloring, it was breathtaking. She smiled at us "Please don't feel overwhelmed and meet everyone when you are ready" Michonne said smiling and walked off to guard the gates again. Me and Sam went walking in, we saw the kitchen it was huge, it had nice marble countertops and the floor in the house was a nice linen color. Me and Sam looked at each other and smiled, we went running up the stairs to see who would get the best room first, I got it obviously because I was faster. My room had a nice desk with a poster of a band on it I knew them, it was KISS a rock band I knew before this started, the desk had some shelves built in with some comics and others books. My bed sat on the side of a wall with another band poster above it, it hand a nightstand and a plain gray carpet on its side.
