A year later,
"Ladies & Gentleman our #1 draft pick for the Dallas Cowboys is QB from University of Texas-Austin, James Barnes IV!" The coach for the Cowboys said
The camera panned to Bucky and his family as he kissed AJ. He walked down to the stage accepted his jersey, posed for photos. After the ceremony AJ was by his side during interviews and the family posed for photos as well on the stage with the coach and owner.
When they returned to Texas, AJ had a letter waiting for her. She excitedly opened it as she could tell it was good news.
"I got in!" She shrieked
"Of course you did baby, there was no doubt in my mind that you would. Now we can go celebrate our big news!" He said as he kissed her and held her waist.
"But we just got home." She said
"I wasn't talking about going out, I was talking about going to bed Dr. Barnes." He said as he walked her backwards to their bedroom.
"Oh I like the sound of that." She said
They celebrated for a few rounds, then slept. When they woke up they ordered out and called to tell the family her big news.
