It has been around 2 ½ years since Mario and Bowser had begun dating and Bowser was getting ready to pop the big question, "Will you marry me?" yea that question Bowser was so nervous that Mario would say no, but his son Bowser Jr. reassured him, "Dad, you're gonna be fineeee." Bowser was shaking; he was nervous like he never was before. Mario then walked in "Morning sweetheart." Bowser quickly turned around "Oh! Uh- Good morning my love, how did you rest?" Bowser asked, Mario yawned and nodded as he hugged his boyfriend. "Mario darling can we have a date night tonight?" "Of course! Where do you want to go?" Bowser thought for a moment, "How about *insert random restaurant name* Then we go to my own personal castle? Y'know the one down in world 8?" he finished blushing Mario nodded, Bowser chuckled "Alright well meet me downstairs at 6pm ok?" "Alright my love." Mario responded, kissing Bowser on the cheek as he walked back upstairs.
Bowser was breathing heavily as Mario walked away, he was pounding his chest he couldn't breathe "Dad you gotta calm down, you're gonna be fine. I promise, Mario loves you." Bowser Jr. said once again. Bowser was shaking uncontrollably and he was hyperventilating "Dad sit down! I'll go get Kamek." Bowser Jr. then ran to Kamek's magic room "Kamek my dad can't breathe!!" he shouted to Kamek, "I'll be there by the time you get back!" Kamek responded Bowser Jr. ran back to his father seeing Kamek treat him. Bowser gasped deeply. "Thank you Kamek." Bowser said relieved.
As the time passed Bowser got his suit on and turned red as he saw Mario come down the stairs, in his suit and his hair combed back. "You ready love?" Mario asked, smiling, Bowser nodded as he looked at Bowser Jr., who nodded and gave his dad a thumbs up. Once they had supper they made their way to Bowser's world 8 castle Bowser felt his pocket to make sure the ring was still in there. He took a deep breath as they got to the top of the castle. "Mario, could you turn around for a second? I need to tell you something but you need to be turned around." "Alright then." Once Mario turned around Bowser began...
"Mario, it has been 2 ½ years since we've begun our journey together. Over those years we've grown together, we've had our ups and our downs but we got through the rough times. I've come to realize you're the only one I want to share the rest of my life with because I can't imagine growing old with anyone else, nor do I want to. So what I'm saying is.." he turned Mario around and got on one knee, "Mario, will you make me the happiest man alive for all eternity and do the honors and marry me?"
Mario's eyes filled with tears as he threw himself into Bowser's arms "Yes Bowser yes!!!" Mario was sobbing but so happy. Bowser placed the ring on Mario's finger and the two shared a sweet tender kiss. Once they got back to the main kingdom, Mario in Bowser's arms Bowser Jr. came running down the stairs "YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!" he was so happy he couldn't control himself he was dancing, jumping up and down and hugging both Mario and Bowser "Calm down boy." Bowser chuckled. Bowser Jr. went back to his room, dancing all the way up the stairs.
Mario and Bowser chuckled as they made their way up to Bowsers room, as they crawled into bed, Bowser chuckled "April fools day."
