Madara sighed as he sat in the passenger seat of the car, having been persuaded to let Amber drive this time. He looked back at Ruby and Kuro, the former of which had fallen asleep, and the latter sitting very still with a face still covered in bandages. If he really wanted to, he could use chakra to heal them very easily, but that would require a display of skill he wasn't quite ready to show them.

Not yet.

"How far is the hospital?" He asked Amber, who looked down at her scroll for a moment before responding.

"Ten more minutes, what's the rush?" Madara scoffed at her words, putting his legs up on the dashboard and sending her a sideways glance.

"I'd rather get this over with rather quickly, I must be back to Beacon before the night is done." Amber gave his a curious look, rounding a corner. The Fall Maiden herself hadn't taken much real damage, mostly exhaustion from using her powers in such an extreme way. But a flicker of anger still remained in her heart, the memory of Adam beating down Ruby. Even if she had only known the younger girl for a week, she had quickly grown fond of her cheery and kind attitude.

"Oh really? And what does the great Madara need to do so badly?" Amber snarked as they stopped at a red light. She lightly drummed her fingertips against the steering wheel, looking at her boss from the rearview mirror.

"I need you to shut up."

"Not happening."

"Whatever. Ruby requested we make it to a dance being held there if time were to permit, and it seems like such a thing has occurred." Madara also looked in the rearview mirror, eyeing his silver eyed student. He normally wasn't one for such malarky, but he was impressed by her performance tonight. Not only had she held her own against the leader of the White Fang's Vale Branch, but concocted a plan to successfully defeat him.

He also remembered the flash in her eyes when Kuro had been injured. The sparkle had been so minuscule that most would have mistaken it for the glare of the moon, but Madara's perceptive gaze knew otherwise. However faint it may be, Madara knew he had witnessed the Silver Eyes.

'They seem to be powered by intense emotion, the desire to protect...perhaps they are more similar to the Sharingan than I thought. If this is the case, I may have some ideas on how to trigger a more extreme activation.' Madara's eyes lingered on Ruby's sleeping form, the odd way her wrist was set making him cringe as he found his way to her shut eyes. He could imagine the divine and god like power behind them, a strength that Madara felt with his tutelage, could be enough to uproot the entire world order.

"And you accepted? I wouldn't have expected that coming from you." Amber remarked as she stared at the Akatsuki leader. They began to move forward again as Madara found her eyes in the mirror, a slight glared in them.

"I am impressed with her display of combat ability and strategic mind...and what's that supposed to mean?" He growled, making Amber snort and giggle as she rolled her eyes.

"Awwww, you're proud of her! That's so sweet! I'm glad to know that the leader of the murderous Akatsuki is such a softie!" Madara was tempted take control of the wheel again, perhaps crash them into a building. But instead he just used his Mokuton jutsu to quickly form a thin branch from his arm, the wood wrapping around Amber's mouth tightly as she began to angrily complain.

"You don't need to talk to drive."

Soon enough, they arrived at the hospital. He stepped out of the car and opened Ruby's door, shaking her a few times before rolling his eyes. It seemed that she was out cold from exhaustion. The Uchiha rolled his eyes as he thought of what to do, before a painful memory struck him at her sleeping form.
