"Ugh" I grown getting up to the sun spraying my face

Looking around I noticed something, I'm still in the living room

Suddenly the news appears on the TV

A woman on screen appears and explains the latest news

I must have left the TV on before going to bed

I get up and go to my room to take a nice warm shower, having the spray of the shower strike my face puts a feeling of comfort on me.

I get out and grab a grey sweater and some black shorts, I head back to the living room when the news reporter begins talking about the incident from last night

"Tuning into another catastrophe, down somewhere near sun street a building explodes..
People are asking why this happened and why
According to investigators, the building wasn't at all of great importantance, but are saying the building was a trap of some sort for a specific mafia....now we have..

I stare at the screen intently, I don't think I've ever been so interested in news up till now but something about this made me feel like someone I knew was part of it

I don't have much going for me today other than the strip club later tonight

"I guess I should go grocery shopping, at the moment I'm running low on ramen" I think to myself

I grab my keys and head downstairs to the car, get in and go on my way

While driving I notice something, a car a black car had been following me but I didn't notice up until now, I figure he's just going to the store to I mean it's close by anyway

I pull up to Walmart and find a spot to park,

I get my things and get out, I pull out my phone while walking to take a look at Instagram once I make it to the door I put it away and grab a cart

"The black car I saw earlier did follow me but didn't park near me so probably was just going to the store as well" I think while walking threw the isles

I make it to the ramen isle and grab a few bags and go to the sweet isle since I'm feeling like eating something sweet

I see a pack of muffins on the top shelf but as I try to grab it I can't reach

I know you should ask for help for things off of top shelves but Im an independent woman I don't need help just cuz I'm short

I grab a box nearby and place it down, and get on it, just as I'm reaching to grab the muffins I hear the box tear, suddenly I fall backwards

Just as I brace for impact I'm caught.

I open my eyes and see a guy with a black hat and black sweater with black sweatpants

"Shhh" he says while putting a finger to his lips

"It's me, Enzo" he says carefully putting me down

"Enzo?" I say slightly raising my voice

"Oops sorry" quickly covering my mouth

"Uhh, why don't you want people to know ur name?" I ask

"Uh, I can't tell you yet darling," he says taking a step back

'say, you seen anything odd lately?" He ask in a serious tone

"really this man popped out of nowhere and he ask me that?" I think to myself

"Uh I don't know what you mean" I say confused,

"You know what nevermind...forget it" he says forcing a smile

"Well if you need to know, I saw a car following me here but I don't think they were actually following me, they parked somewhere else" I say looking around as if I knew what he looked like

"Aah, really.. interesting " he goes into thought

"Why did you wanna know?" I say still confused

"Well.." he walks forward and grabs the muffins I was gonna grab, "it's for reasons that are confidential.." he puts them in my hands with a smile

"Confidential reasons? What are you a cop?" I ask

"Do you really wish to know?" He suddenly pins me to the shelf

"I..." Suddenly it happens again, words won't come out properly from me

"I what?" He asks looking at my eyes intently

"I..I.. don't know, it's your life.." I say as the words come out

"My life, are you saying you have no reason to peek into my life?" He says with a smirk

"No! Wait yes..huh?" I say still not knowing how to answer

'Geez why do I get so flustered around this guy' I think to myself

"Here" he hands me a sheet of paper with numbers on it

"Call me whenever you need or maybe if you just want to for personal reasons," he says that last part with a wink

"Bye love! He says re-positioning he's hat

He walks away with his hands in his sweater looking down

I take a closer look at the paper, 'it wouldn't hurt to at least have it..right' I think while taking my phone out

I dialed in his number and saved it on my phone, since I still don't know much about him I give him the name "mystery man" perfect!

I get done shopping and go to the register as I'm about to cash out the cashier tells me someone payed for all my stuff and it was someone in a black hat,

'that idiot...' I think while thanking the cashier I pull out my phone and quickly text him "thanks but you didn't have to" and send.

"Anything for you ❤️" he responds

I blush a little and quickly put my phone in my pocket,

I get back to the car and put the things I got away and take my leave,

As I'm leaving I notice the same car leaving at the same time, I try not to think anything of it until he starts taking every turn I take,

I start speeding up to get home quickly

I make it home, but instead of grabbing my things I quickly get out and rush up the stairs..

I lock the door and run to my room,

He was following me.. could it had been Enzo?..no..it can't he left the story after paying for my things, so..so who was that..
