blond hair, candid skin; indifference

Christopher resisted the urge to groan as someone knocked on the door of his office, demanding to be let in. In the past days he had been inconvenienced far more than he should have allowed and, honestly, he still was unable to understand why he hadn't just shut everything down as he had always done before. He was aware of the fact that the person at the door carried information on what was bothering him so much those days, so, in order to get everything done as quickly as possible, he placed the document he was reading back on his desk and called out for that person to come in. Sky walked in, as composed as always, indeed carrying a pile of paper sheets neatly tucked together.

«I have procured everything you required» he announced, making his way toward the desk and handing Christopher the stack.

«About time, I need this story to be sponged out quickly so that I can go back to actual business» he commented, immediately starting to go through the documents.

Sky sighed, not even making a move to exit the room, as he should have done «I believe this to be serious business as well»

«Please» Christopher threw him a glare above the line of a paper «My family believes it is serious business, not you nor I. I am doing this so that they will get off my back and let me do my job in peace»

«Which is a wise decision... but Chris, I think you should effectively read the files, instead of just glancing at them, some people worked hard to retrieve them» Sky pointed out, another sigh on his lips.

«Good for them, their time has already been rewarded. Oh...» he trailed off, his eyebrows raising ever so slightly «This one will be good» he announced, passing the document to his butler and shoving the rest, which was, by then, useless, on a corner of his huge desk.

As Sky took the file in his hands, Christopher was already back to the previous, and far more important in his opinion, documents. The young man raised an eyebrow as well as he read through it, taking in name, age, social position, address, lifestyle and so on of the person whom the document dealt, eyes always trailing back to the ethereal yet fairly masculine face portrayed in the black and white photo.

«Chris... this is a male» he pointed out, a bit of annoyance in his tone since the other didn't even seem to have focused on the task properly.

«I know» Christopher replied, eyes not leaving even for a second what he was reading «Male, female, social class, does not matter as long as they have what I have requested and he does, does he not?»

«Well... yes, he is mute, but I really do not understand why you are fussing so much around this little detail and then refuse to even spare a second glance at the files of the person you are going to marry in a few months' time» Sky argued, exasperated.

«A few months' time?» the other asked, throwing him a glance «Make it a month, I really do not have time to wait»

«But Chris, that is impossible! We have to notify him, prepare the venue, the guest list, the-» the young man started to complain, only to be cut off by the older.

«No venue, no guest list» Christopher declared «Now get out, the problems that affect the Crown are not going to fix themselves and they are certainly more important than a stupid and forced wedding that is going to do no good to society»

Not being able to do anything besides acknowledging his defeat, Sky bowed his head and walked out of the office swiftly, already feeling the toll of many sleepless nights to come in order to organize everything. He hoped the man that was going to be his new young master wasn't going to throw a tantrum, he really didn't want to trouble Minho with extra work.
