My room

Toys stacked to the ceiling, doll houses as tall as me if not taller, boxes and boxes of dolls, colors of red, pink and purple everywhere. My bed was adorable, and was more then just a mattress. There were even toys I had never seen before, almost futuristic. I slowly walked around the room looking at everything. I could still hear Jason and Candy talking.

"It's not safe for her here." Candy was trying to be quiet but his voice carried a bit.

"You think I don't know that? It's not safe for her at her home either! And since did you care about kids?" Jason sounded agitated.

"Since you became infatuated with this one. Why are you anyway?" Candy sounded truly curious.

"Cause she reminds me of me when I was younger." Jason sounded a bit sad.

"You mean before 'her'?" Candy pop had put emphasis on the word her.

"Yeah, always wanting to please someone, trying her best no matter what. And she looks like her as well. Bella just might be the chosen one." I turn and smile at Jason though he looks sad as he leans on the door frame.

"This room is amazing! I love it! It's the best thing I've ever seen!" I was smiling so wide my cheeks hurt.

Jason smiled an honest smile and stood up off the wall. "This isn't all my dear," he walks over to a door in the wall and opens it. "After you."

I slowly walk to the door with anticipation and look inside. Inside was a large walk in closet lined with pretty dresses and shoes of all sizes and colors, there were hats and jewelry as well. My jaw dropped as I walked through the closet touching everything. "I-is this really all for me?" I turn to Jason and receive a nod as an answer, Candy pop also seemed in awe as he appeared behind Jason. I squealed with excitement and ran over and hugged Jason. "Thank you so very much Jason!!! You are the best!"

Jason was shocked at my reaction at first then smiled and hugged me back. "You are very welcome Bella."

Candy pop stared at me then scoffed and walked away shouting back. "Don't come crying to me when you get in trouble with the big man."

I look up at Jason confused "what does he mean?"

Jason shook his head. "Nothing for you to worry about my dear. Now, what would you like to do now?"

I look around unsure what to do, there was just so much. "I don't know." I yawn and rub one of my eyes, I felt tired despite sleeping on the floor only a few hours ago.

Jason placed a gentle hand on my head. "How about some rest first, then we can play?"

I felt a little sad but nodded anyway. "Promise not to leave me?" I ask looking up at him as he takes my free hand and leads me to the bed.

"I promise." He smiled at me and helped me onto the bed.

It was soft and warm, the pillow was fluffy, and my body sank slightly into the bed as I lay down in it. I cuddle the bunny to my chest and smile a tired smile at Jason.

"Oh," I say softly with a yawn, "we're you able to talk to Jack?"

Jason hesitates a moment, "I did, though I don't want you wondering about that right now. You need proper rest before anything else. You sleep as long as you need and we shall talk more about things when you wake. Deal?" He had wound up a small music box and placed it on the nightstand beside my bed. It played a soft tune I didn't recognize.

I smile and close my eyes, wrapping my arms around the bunny tight, as if it would hop away in my sleep. "Deal." I felt Jason place a gentle kiss on my forehead, almost causing me to flinch. I relaxed completely, drifting off to a peaceful sleep I've never had before.

If only I could stay here forever. Maybe I could one day, but I know I have to go back eventually. Though for now I shall enjoy these good things while they last.
