Everything is wrong

As I awake in the dark hours of the night I see that I am still alone. I sit up slowly as to not disturb Licorice. The dolls around me seemed weaker then before.

Something wasn't right.

I stand up and walk to a doll, it barely moves to stop me.

Something is definitely wrong.

I quickly push past all the weakened doll, knocking down a few in the process. The clatter of the dolls woke Licorice, who quickly began to follow, squeaking at me loudly. I rushed out the room and down the hall to Jason's workshop.

As I searched through the tools Licorice climbed climbed up my body and onto my arm, squealing now.

"I have to do something Licorice. I can't just sit here waiting like a scared little child afraid of the dark." I hold up a saw and try swinging it before tossing it aside. Surely there was something in here of use to me. Licorice, realizing that he couldn't stop me, helped me search for a weapon of some sort.

After some searching I discovered an old sword like tool that felt comfortable in my hand. Though I had never held a weapon in my life I knew it would be the best I could get.

I look to Licorice with an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. "Ok. Lead the way Licorice."

With a squeak and a spin, Licorice took off down the hall, out the door, and through the forest all the way to the mansion. My dress, still torn, was slightly easier to move in, my bare feet pushed me further and faster then I had ever moved in my shoes, and though my shoulder was bruised and ached liked the dickens my arms helped carry me forward with ever increasing speed.

I reached the Manor doors and pushed them open. The sounds of fighting could be heard from the threshold and the foyer was wrecked. Traveling quickly through the place I noticed there was blood and liquid everywhere. It was clear others had joined the fight but surely fell to the power of the others. As far as I'm aware, the fight consists of simply SlenderMan, Candy pop, and Jason.

Heading up a flight of stairs, the crashing grew louder and so I grew more cautious. With Licorice on my shoulder I carefully rounded every corner, sword in hand. I knew not where I was headed or what my plan was when I got there, all I knew was that I had to help.

I wandered for what felt like forever when finally I rounded a corner only to see Jason fly past me. He was in a terrible state. His body was riddled with holes that healed themselves slowly, his right arm was missing completely, and he was cloaked in crimson blood. Demonic screams down the hall told me Candy pop was still fighting. I knew Jason couldn't die, not from wounds like these, but the sight of him like this made my eyes water and my heart ache.

I never, in my wildest dreams, ever thought there would be someone out there who would fight like this for me. One who loved me, another who cared. I couldn't simply just sit back and watch as the ones who cared for me, and I for them, get torn apart.

With sword in hand, and mouse on shoulder, I rounded the corner to see an enormous SlenderMan swatting at a flying Candy pop turned demon. Tendrils flailing, mouth agape with ragged teeth made of flesh and bone, limb sized that were abnormally large and disproportionate to him, SlenderMan had turned into a monster that would wake grownups from their slumber. The beast let out a static filled shriek as the demon blasted it with balls of lights. It was a wonder that the mansion hadn't been leveled by now.

My body broke into a cold sweat as the creature noticed me. It came crawling down the hall towards me. Candy pop tried stopping it by grabbing a handful of tendrils but to no avail. It came to a sudden halt as it towered over me, drool and blood dripping from its maw. It let out an ear shattering roar that caused me to momentarily lose my balance and caused Licorice to fly off my shoulder, landing on Jason.

I glared up at the monster in front of me and hold the sword tightly.

It reaches for me and I slash at its enormous claws, cutting the palm.

A screech of pain and it backhands me into a wall with a thud.

I drop the sword as I fall to the floor, dizzy from the sudden impact.

Candy pop lands in front of me, lifting me to a sitting position. He speaks to me but I can not hear him. I feel a warm liquid slip down the side of my face. I reach and see blood on my hand, my ear drums must have burst, or at least one of them. I hear what sounds of a distant call but can't make out what is said.

Ignoring Candy pop I push away his hands and take up the sword once more. I stumble and stagger to my feet, Candy pop clinging to me the whole way. I clumsily push him to the side, my whole body screaming in pain at every moment.

I hold my sword up to the monster that loomed over Jason.

I rush.

I pierce.

A sharp pain fills my back as black blood pours down my sword and arms.

I look and see I've pierced the heart of the beast.

I look down and see I've been pierced through the abdomen. My red blood slowly pooling at my feet.

I collapse into someone's arms and pull my sword from SlenderMan in the process.

He slowly shrinks back to a normal size and stares at me.

I look up to see Jason's face. Blood covered and tear stained. He was crying. He was calling.

"Bella."

My love.

"BELLA!"

I reach up and touch his face, he takes my hand.

"BELLA!"

My body grows cold, so very cold.

"BELLAAA!"

The darkness closes in around me. The pain slowly dissipates. "My love, take care of our daughter, and yourself. I love you."

I could not hear myself, but I knew he heard me. He was safe now.
